Thomas Knights: Ashley Young used to be an international winger, yet his crossing resembles that out a centre back, awful

Simon Crisp: Surely by the laws of fickle football fandom, it's time to roll out the #SackSolskjaer, external banners now?

Nathan Marzan: PSG have been a totally different side in this 2nd half. If united ever had a plan they've ripped it to shreds!

Ian Savage: Can't help but think this game changed WHEN Lingard limped off. Utd just haven't looked the and going forward since. No pace or movement

Sushant Shetty: I will prefer this performance anytime over the drab game this would have been under Mourinho with the scoreline being the same anyways

  5. Sanchez's strugglespublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Man Utd 0-2 PSG

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Alexis Sanchez has been largely on the periphery of events at Old Trafford since his introduction for Jesse Lingard.

That spark which took him past defenders when he was at Arsenal seems to have disappeared and he is just looking for a killer pass, which has never looked like coming off.

It is games like this when he should really be making a difference.

Ole! time at Old Trafford, not Ole time. The PSG fans are loving this as Kylian Mbappe and Angel di Maria exchange backheels near the corner flag.

    Man Utd 0-2 PSG

    Phil Neville
Ex-Man Utd and England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

What we've seen tonight is United's crosses into the box have been quite predictable.

These are world-class defenders, they've been waiting for everything.

They can't just lump long balls forward to Marcus Rashford.

United need more quality in midfield.

  8. Postpublished at 70 mins

Better from United, and Alexis Sanchez in particular as he finds Luke Shaw on the overlap, his cross is cleared for a corner. Thilo Kehrer clears away with ease though.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 64 mins

    Man Utd 0-2 PSG

Gret save again! David de Gea is keeping his side in this tie, just about. Juan Bernat is the latest to test his reflexes from the left of the area and the Spaniard beats his shot over the top.

    This is a reality check.

  15. Solskjaer needs to find answerspublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Man Utd 0-2 PSG

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come down to the edge of his technical area to issue some instructions.

If Manchester United lose tonight, it will put a dint in his virtually unblemished run as manager. If they get hammered it will be a bigger dint.

What Solskjaer needs to avoid is this result being followed by a similar one in the FA Cup at Chelsea on Monday and then against Liverpool the following Sunday.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 63 mins

    Man Utd 0-2 PSG

    Could be three! Great save!

But United are asking for trouble if they leave Kylian Mbappe one on one at the back, he absolutely roasts away from Victor Lindelof, running from deep and bursting into the area, on the right-hand side.

He goes for a dink over David de Gea, who makes a big save with one hand.

United are in danger of being blown away here.

The speed from Mbappe was amazing - that was a brilliant finish. Devastating counter-attack from PSG.

    Kylian Mbappe

    Massive goal!

Centre-halves Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof have the best seats in the house as Kylian Mbappe sprints inbetween them to meet a peach of a cross from Angel di Maria and slip it under David de Gea.

Clinical, clinical stuff, and a great piece of wing play from the former United man.
