Xherdan Shaqiri whips in a good cross and Gini Wijnaldum is close to meeting it with a header but it's well nodded away. No sign of the tempo coming down at all.

No Firmino, no Salah and now no Robertson. This would be incredible for Liverpool to get through this.

Every time Liverpool have a corner Barcelona look like scoring. Jordan Henderson has to scramble across to clear his lines.

Away we go! Two unanswered Liverpool goals and we get extra time. Sounds easy when you put it like that.

Ajax v Tottenham (20:00 BST, Wednesday, Agg: 1-0)

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It would be a fairy-tale story if Ajax went all the way. Last year they went out in a qualifying round to Nice and that tells you how they have improved in such a short space of time and they have been the story of the season.

Tottenham are very much still in this tie. They are a goal behind at half-time.

Little did you know Hasan that we've got a Huddersfield fan on the desk tonight! He laughed out loud at that suggestion.

Though did come back with the opposite question: Put Messi in the Terriers side and where would they finish?

Freddy: I've been calling for Shaqiri all season to be a regular starter. Tonight he is showing why Klopp knows best. He's having a shocker.

Chris Lincoln: Divock Origi keeps popping up with goals and putting in decent performances. Most improved player of the season?

Hasan Anfield: Take Messi out of this Barcelona side = Huddersfield Town.

I said at the time that Andy Robertson just ran into the back of Luis Suarez when he picked up that knock - I've just seen a better replay and the striker definitely kicked him!

He knows what he's doing alright.

Sadio Mane has been absolutely everywhere and Barcelona don't know how to handle him. Early on in the game he was also running in behind. Origi has also been a right handful and a nuisance.

What an ideal start it was for Liverpool. They went after Barcelona and got their reward for it. Barcelona want to score a goal and are not going to change how they are playing.

An absolutely breathless first half at Anfield - on the pitch and in the stands. The action has been relentless and the atmosphere has been incredible.

The players and fans need to go for a lie down I think.

And it's Barcelona who nearly score from that Liverpool corner! A swift counter like the ones at the end of the first leg, Lionel Messi playing a dream of a ball into the path of left-back Jordi Alba, who's one on one with Alisson and the big Brazilian saves!

    Big moment.
