Divock Origi's name rings out around Anfield. The most unlikely of heroes for Liverpool.

If Jordan Pickford had left that, it would have gone out of play...

    A monumental misjudgement.

GOAL - Liverpool 1-0 Evertonpublished at 90+5 mins

    Divock Origi

    Amazing!

I don't know how to begin to describe this! Jurgen Klopp is on the pitch! Alisson lumps a free-kick long into the box, it's headed up and Virgil van Dijk goes for a volley from about 20 yards out.

It's a horrible swinger and the ball loops a mile up in the air. It comes down with snow on it, Jordan PIckford misjudges it totally, it lands on the top of the crossbar, hits the bar again, and Divock Origi this time does score, heading into an open goal!

What an ugly goal. What a clanger from the England keeper...

Looking at the league table, with Everton in sixth and Manchester United not performing this season, they'll be thinking they can get sixth place this season. And why not?

  6. Postpublished at 90+4 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

It's taken until the last minute od added time but there's a bit of a scuffle, Richarlison and Joe Gomez squaring up. Alisson strides over and prises them apart.

It's been an entertaining 0-0, but with the chances they've had in the second half, you'd say Liverpool have had enough to win it.

Lovely turn from Daniel Sturridge on the edge of the area, has to shoot but takes an extra touch and who's that making a tackle on the edge of the area? Richarlison!

Liverpool have more winning goals in stoppage time than any other side in Premier League history.

    Just saying...

We saw that miss by Matt Ritchie the other week...this could be worse. How has he missed?

What a chance for Divock Origi! I don't know why he didn't head it. He's got to score. He's two yards out.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 87 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

After Divock Origi hit the bar Daniel Sturridge's shot hit the arm of Gylfi Sigurdsson, did it hit someone in front of him on the way through? I couldn't tell. Contentious for sure...

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 87 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

    GOT TO SCORE THAT!

Divock! He's about two yards out, he meets Virgil van Dijk's knock down and smashes a shot against the crossbar! He had the whole goal to aim at!

There was a penalty shout from the follow-up as well. What a chance!

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Played Divock! First touch sees him skni Yerry Mina down the wing and put in a testing low cross which is almost met on the full by Sadio Mane but Lucas Digne tracks him well and puts it behind...

  15. Postpublished at 86 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Liverpool get a throw on the right but there's no England style long one from Joe Gomez. Virgil van Dijk puts in a good cross though but Michael Keane is strong at the back post and clears. Keane seems to have his mojo back.

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Almost a classic case of the commentator's curse as Liverpool break from an Everton set-piece. Daniel Sturridge gets it wide right and plays a nice through ball into the run of Roberto Fimino but he lacks conviction and his cross/shot from the left trundles harmlessly across the penalty area...

    Liverpool 0-0 Everton

Clever play from Richarlison, he reads the bounce of the ball better and gets goal side of Joe Gomez, who can only pull the Brazilian back and goes into the book. Everton looking comfortable at the moment.
