This is possibly my favourite stat of the day so far.

If Brighton's Florin Andone bags at Turf Moor today he will become only the third Romanian to score in three consecutive Premier League appearances.

Right then, stats fans - who were the other two? For anyone over the age of 30 this should be pretty easy...

  2. Burnley unchanged, Brighton make four changespublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

Sean Dyche names an unchanged line-up to the one that lost to Liverpool on Wednesday, despite putting in a much-improved performance.

Joe Hart starts in goal and will make his 400th league appearance in English football, while James Tarkowski makes his second start since returning from injury, and Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood lead the line.

Burnley starting XI: Hart; Bardsley, Mee, Tarkowski, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Westwood, Cork, Brady; Barnes, Wood.

Subs: Heaton, Lowton, Long, Hendrick, Lennon, Vydra, Vokes.

Meanwhile, Chris Hughton makes four changes to the side that beat Crystal Palace in midweek.

Shane Duffy misses out through suspension, Jose Izquierdo drops out through injury, Martin Montoya does not make the squad and Glenn Murray can only make the bench.

Club captain and veteran defender Bruno comes in to the back line, as does Leon Balogun. While Anthony Knockaert and Florin Andone - who has scored in his last two league outings - start in attack.

Brighton starting XI: Ryan; Bruno, Dunk, Balogun, Bernardo; March, Bissouma, Propper, Knockaert; Gross, Andone.

Subs: Steele, Bong, White, Stephens, Kayal, Locadia, Murray.

  3. My players have guts - Mourinhopublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

Man Utd v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

    Gary Flintoff
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at Old Trafford

Some interesting words from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is his programme notes:

"Nobody can deny these players have guts. At the moment, it seems like every game we play, we go behind, but we keep coming back.

"Time after time this season, we have made things hard for ourselves.

"We keep shooting ourselves with our mistakes, which is a big part of the reason we are where we are in the Premier League table."

  4. Breaking team newspublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

Paul Pogba... stays on the bench for Manchester United. Romelu Lukaku, however, is promoted back into the starting XI by Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette starts, while Laurent Koscielny is back on the bench after long-term injury.

Joe Hart makes his 400th English league appearance for Burnley, while visitors Brighton have Glenn Murray on the bench.

  7. Arsenal crack down on playerspublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Arsenal v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

Unai Emery and his Arsenal bosses might have felt a bit, ahem, deflated after seeing the newspaper headlines yesterday.

The Gunners players will be "spoken to" by club chiefs after images emerged allegedly showing four members of the first team inhaling nitrous oxide.

CCTV footage obtained by the Sun shows Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all inhaling from balloons allegedly containing the substance.

The players were at a private party at a London club in August.

Arsenal defender Rob HoldingImage source, Reuters

One bit of team news we already know is Arsenal are without defender Rob Holding. For a long time, in fact.

The 23-year-old centre-back has been ruled out for up to nine months after he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Manchester United.

"Rob will undergo surgery in the coming days and rehabilitation is expected to take between six to nine months," said an Arsenal statement.

    Get well soon Rob!

For Manchester United, will Paul Pogba and/or Romelu Lukaku start today?

Could we see Laurent Koscielny back in an Arsenal shirt? And what will Ralph Hasenhuttl's first Saints selection look like?

Fair to say former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand isn't convinced by Mendes' input.

Ferdinand says it is "far-fetched" for the Portuguese agent to suggest the club are happy with Mourinho's work.

"They haven't moved on since Mourinho's first season," adds the ex-England captain.

Agree or disagree with Rio? You know the drill... tweet #bbcfootball.

  11. 'Players have to look at themselves'published at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

Man Utd v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

    Paul Ince
Former England midfielder on Football Focus

He changed the system against Arsenal to three at the back and they looked a better team. With no Romelu Lukaku, the attack had more pace. Defensively they are still inept. I looked at the game and thought, ‘was it better?’ Yes. But he still hasn’t found his right formation or top 11 players.

Every mistake Manchester United make, it is directed at Mourinho. The players have to look at themselves. Paul Pogba is not performing the way he should be. They have to take responsibility.

  12. Mourinho is 'happy' and 'committed'published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

Man Utd v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

It is not very often we hear from 'super-agent' Jorge Mendes.

So when he releases a statement to say Jose Mourinho - one of his leading clients - is "very happy" and "fully committed" to Manchester United then you know it is serious. And calculated.

Mourinho's position at the club has been under scrutiny this season, with the Red Devils eighth in the Premier League, eight points off the top four.

The Portuguese, 55, signed a contract extension at Old Trafford in January but has been linked with a return to former club Real Madrid., external

"It's totally untrue," said agent Jorge Mendes in a statement.

"Jose is very happy at the club and the club is very happy with him. He has a long-term contract with Manchester United and is fully committed to the club in building a solid winning project."
