Anyway... Saints will have gone through plenty of heading drills this week and it pays off again as Jan Bednarek thumps one clear.

West Ham's first chance to equalise. A deflected cross falls into the path of Lucas Perez, who volleys with his left foot, but wide of the far post.

When the game gets back up and running, Arsenal create their best opening. Lucas Torreira slices open the away defence with a carving knife of a pass, Hector Bellerin just not quite being quick enough to beat Jonas Lossl to it.

A long delay as Huddersfield midfielder Jonathan Hogg goes down in a heap. Looks like Matteo Guendouzi has accidentally trod on his wrist.
