    Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield

Wait... Huddersfield aren't going to roll over and have their bellies tickled. Laurent Depoitre tries to get on the end of Alex Pritchard's cross, but Gunners keeper Bernd Leno has to be awake to beat the Town striker to the ball.

Eddie: Arsenal can't challenge for the big prizes with a reputation for being a 2nd half team. That's a chronic symptom of not being ruthless enough

Sean: Arsenal's back 3 all on a yellow. A tricky 45 coming up

Arsenal are the second-half kings, remember.

If all of their 14 Premier League matches had finished with the half-time scoreline, Arsenal would be 19th in the table. Unai Emery's side have not once led at half-time.

Emery makes a half-time substitute for the NINTH time this season and one of the newcomers - Henrikh Mkhitaryan - almost makes an instant impact.

The Gunners midfielder robs the ball from Jonathan Hogg, plays a neat one two before drilling a shot wide.

    Level!

Robert Snodgrass gets the Hammers level with a thing of beauty. When the ball is cleared via a Palace head, Snodgrass is lurking on the edge of the box. One touch, then a languid swing of the left boot, the ball arcing into the top corner past the flailing hand of Wayne Hennessey.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield

Unai Emery is not happy with what he's seen so far. Arsenal pair Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi come on for Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alexandre Lacazette.

And, in more heartbreak or fantasy football fans, sees Aleksandar Mitrovic goes off for Fulham, while Lucas Perez has made way for Andy carroll at West Ham.

That went quick. The players are reappearing. While Stephan's still in the tea queue, I can tell you Unai Emery is making two half-time changes....

It was amazing being a Fulham fan last year - great football, watching the rise of Sessegnon, that unforgettable day at Wembley - but this season it's hard to shake the feeling we're crashing straight back down... the optimism in the summer feels a lifetime ago now!

This is brilliant. Suspended Huddersfield striker Steve Mounie is playing Santa Claus in the away end.

Wearing a club-issue, Santa-style bobble hat, Mounie is watching among the Terriers fans and is handing out presents to young supporters.

What gifts are they getting? Town shirts with Mounie's name on the back.

"Sorry mate, have you got one with Aaron Mooy's name on the back?"

  10. 'Frightening for Fulham fans'published at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    HT: Man Utd 3-0 Fulham

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Quite simply, after the first 10 minutes and the first Manchester United goal it could be four or five very easily. United are playing well, crisp passing and excellent movement off the ball.

Fulham are disorganised and I am surprised United have been able to play so easily through them. It is a bit frightening for Fulham fans.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield

    Boooooo! Arsenal fans aren't happy.

Shkodran Mustafi was shown a yellow in the dying embers of the half for diving, protesting his innocence to referee Paul Tierney with the conviction of a bloke carrying a bag of loot from the scene of a robbery.

That has further incensed the Gunners fans, who feel Alexandre Lacazette's 'goal' was disallowed.

The Hammers, though, could have left the back door open. Luka Milivojevic rattles the cross bar. Palace have kept a couple of clean sheets recently. They'll be fancying this.

    West Ham 0-1 Crystal Palace

West Ham are like a man who has has drunk six pints of a trendy IPA, hiked a mile and a half home from the pub, only to discover he's left his door key on the bar. It's all very nice until the crucial moment, when you discover that it is all going wrong.

  19. Postpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield

Chances at both ends. Huddersfield midfieler Alex Pritchard pops up in space to fire over the Arsenal bar, a rare chance for the visitors, then it takes a splendid save from Jonas Lossl to stop Lucas Torreira's curling effort.

  20. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield

Arsenal have the ball in the net! But Alexandre Lacazette is flagged offside. The Arsenal striker is not happy because he thinks he has taken advantage of a slack backpass before rounding Jonas Lossl.

He's not offside there... but he was offside when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang flicked on the initial ball forward.
