  1. Seven minutes added onpublished at 90 mins

    Celtic 0-2 Salzburg

It's all a bit surreal at Celtic Park as the home fans sing in celebration with their team trailing.

We've got a bit to go here after that injury to Ryan Christie.

Four minutes remaining over in Leipzig...

    How are the nerves?

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 88 mins

    Celtic 0-2 Salzburg

Salzburg keeper Alexander Walke makes his first save of the evening and it's a cracker as he tips over a fierce, curling free kick from Olivier Ntcham.

  3. Hold the bus!published at 87 mins

Wait a minute... Rosenborg have just gone and equalised at RB Leipzig.

As it stands, Celtic are going through.

Tore Reginiussen might be getting some flowers through the post from Craig Gordon.

Celtic don’t look like scoring. After the horrible Craig Gordon mistake the stuffing seems to have been knocked out of the team. In truth they were struggling to create before going 2-0 down. Suddenly Celtic squander a chance from two yard out. It just doesn’t look like being their night.

    Celtic 0-2 Salzburg

    That is unbelievable! Mind-boggling, really.

A third corner of the evening for Celtic and it's flicked on at the near post by Filip Benkovic. The ball falls for Kristoffer Ajer three yards out and the defender somehow scoops the ball over with his shin.

It might even have been going in before Ajer's clumsy touch.

Howler. I can't say much more than that. Craig Gordon will know that. It's a lack of concentration, of not knowing where his man is, and he's cost his side.

  7. goal

GOAL Celtic 0-2 Salzburgpublished at 77 mins

    Frederik Gulbrandsen

Disaster for Craig Gordon... Disaster for Celtic.

Remember the Champions League final when Liverpool's Loris Karius threw the ball against Karim Benzema to gift Real Madrid a goal?

Well, Gordon has done much the same and Frederik Gulbrandsen tucks a second Salzburg goal into an empty net.

    Celtic Park silenced.

Celtic need to do something now to get the crowd going and put a little bit of pressure on this team. Brendan Rodgers doesn't have any one else to bring on. These eleven players have got to do the business

The visitors make a change, taking off the impressive Takumi Minamino and introducing Norway international Frederik Gulbrandsen.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 71 mins

    Celtic 0-1 Salzburg

The reflexes of Craig Gordon deny Munas Dabbur a second goal as the Celtic keeper somehow manages to get an outstretched arm to a close-range header and forces the ball over the top.

  11. Postpublished at 69 mins

Can Celtic respond? They've got 20 minutes or so to find a way back or else they are heading out.

They haven't managed to trouble the Salzburg keeper yet.

  12. goal

GOAL Celtic 0-1 Salzburgpublished at 67 mins

    Munas Dabbur

It's too easy. Stefan Lainer is given all the time in the world to swing in a cross from the right and Munas Dabbur jumps under little pressure to nod the ball home.

Craig Gordon gets something on it but can't keep it out.

What bravery from the young man (Ryan Christie). It was a really important tackle. Minamino had pulled the trigger and he (Christie) has put his foot in between and made contact with the ball then Minamino just followed through. Hopefully he'll be okay.

What a dramatic start to the second half. On has come the old warrior Scott Brown as Brendan Rodgers’ side switch things to a 4-4-2 with a diamond formation in midfield to match up with RB Salzburg. The early signs were promising. But now the injury to Ryan Christie has changed the atmosphere again. It seems to be bad one, which is such a shame for a player in the form of his life. A huge blow for him and for Celtic.

  15. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Salzburg

A warm round of applause as Ryan Christie is finally removed from the pitch. Let's hope it's not too serious. Olivier Ntcham is on now and Celtic have used up all of their subs with more than half an hour to play.

  16. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Salzburg

The stretcher is on for Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham is stripped and ready to come on.

The medical staff are taking their time removing the stricken Christie, which is ominous and the crowd have gone very quiet.

Seriously good Salzburg side, this. Champions League level. Celtic not getting close to them in midfield. Loads of space. Big job ahead.
