St Johnstone have not been up the park in the second half, but they have got the goal. Murray Davidson blasts the ball into the back of the net to give the home side the lead.

  12. Postpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Kilmarnock 2-1 Rangers

Rangers are starting to lose out in the midfield scraps as Kilmarnock dig in with real ferocity. Now a deflected strike from Eamonn Brophy loops wide - that could have gone anywhere.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 1-0 Hibernian

Motherwell come within a whisker of wrapping up the three points.

Alex Gorrin dinks one through for the galloping Conor Sammon. The striker's shot is deflected, and tipped away by the prone Ofir Marciano.

The ball bounces back to Sammon, but from a very tight angle, he can only side-foot off the post and wide.

  16. Hibs continue to frustratepublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 1-0 Hibernian

It's just not happening for Hibs at Fir Park.

They're showing a bit more urgency and fluency in the second half, but lack the ruthlessness to convert their possession into an equaliser.

Vykintas Slivka dallied on the edge of the box. Ryan Gauld passed out of play. And Flo Kamberi has just hooked a wild shot over from inside the area.

Timothy Weah, on for two-goal Oliver Burke, almost adds to the Celtic lead again, but Vaclav Hladky deflects his effort just wide.

You can say the script was written. That's his first real bit of quality. Jordan Jones lets a shot go from about 25 yards. Killie have put so much into this game to turn things round.
