  1. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 2-1 Rangerspublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Jordan Jones

The Ibrox-bound winger has just turned this game on its head... Jordan Jones, who has a pre-contract agreement to join Rangers in the summer, fizzes a low shot between two defenders and Allan McGregor is a bit slow to react as the keeper gets a hand to it but can't keep it out.

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

Scott Arfield gets the jump on his man at the near post to meet a Ryan Kent corner but the Rangers midfielder gets too much on his glancing header and sends it over the top.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    St Johnston 0-0 Livingston

Livingston defender Craig Halkett curls a superb free-kick in from distance and Zander Clarke dives to push it wide.

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

Rangers are beginning to get the upper hand again but the home side are working so hard to keep them at bay.

  5. Howler from Horganpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 1-0 Hibernian

Oh, dear. Finally some incision from Hibs, Ryan Gauld flicking a lovely ball through for Daryl Horgan.

Left of the goal, the Irishman gets his finish all wrong. He goes with his right foot and scoops the attempted lob of Mark Gillespie miles wide. That about sums up Hibs' night so far.

  7. Accies furious over Dons’ second goalpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Hamilton Accies 0-3 Aberdeen

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at Hope Stadium

Bit of controversy about that Aberdeen second. Accies claimed strongly for a penalty just beforehand as Aaron McCann went down under Gary Mackay-Steven’s challenge. Aberdeen then broke upfield and Cosgrove finished superbly. Clearly things have now gone from bad to worse for Accies with that third goal. No way back.

  8. goal

GOAL Celtic 3-0 St Mirrenpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Oliver Burke

A second for Burke, who converts after the ball breaks to him inside the penalty area

  9. Hearts up the pressurepublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Hearts 1-1 Dundee

Callumn Morrison's shot from the right is blocked by an awkward save by Sen Dieng, the ball bouncing off the Dundee goalkeeper and going wide. From the corner, Christophe Berra's header is kept out by Dieng.

  10. goal

GOAL Hamilton 0-3 Aberdeenpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Greg Stewart

Lewis Ferguson knocks the ball over the line after Greg Stewart's header is blocked by goalkeeper Ryan Fulton but the ball seemingly crossed the line before Ferguson's intervention and Stewart is awarded the goal.

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield, just booked, cleans out Jordan Jones with a high challenge and is perhaps a shade fortunate to still be on the park.

It's getting a bit tasty out there...

GOAL Hamilton 0-2 Aberdeenpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Sam Cosgrove

Powerful play from Sam Cosgrove as he brushes off the Hamilton defence on the left, cuts into the box and places a confident finish into the far corner.

  14. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

James Tavernier whips in a lovely cross and Alfredo Morelos throws himself at it to knock it home - with his hand.

The Rangers striker is promptly booked.

  16. Rangers adapt to new shapepublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    HT: Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

Rangers started like a train and got the early goal through Jermain Defoe's predatory instincts but Kilmarnock have worked their way back into it and the game has been more even since Eamonn Brophy levelled.

Rangers have ditched their usual 4-3-3 to fit Defoe and Alfredo Morelos in up front and they have the edge on chances created.

  17. Celtic completely dominantpublished at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    HT Celtic 2-0 St Mirren

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland

This hasn’t really been a contest. Perhaps St Mirren planned to hold out as long as possible and look to nick something but that plan quickly evaporated.

Burke’s header for the opener might have been kept out but he had so much space to reach Ryan Christie’s curling free kick.

Scott Sinclair’s penalty effectively ended the match. Since then St Mirren have camped in so deep with Celtic playing around them waiting for the next opportunity.

At this rate Brendan Rodgers could take Scott Bain off and put on another outfield player given the lack of threat to his goal.

They should be further ahead and that might be the only criticism in what has been an absolute stroll.

  18. ‘Well worthy leaderspublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    HT: Motherwell 1-0 Hibernian

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

This is a vastly different Motherwell performance from their Scottish Cup exit on Saturday. The Steelmen have had Hibs pinned back for most of the first half and David Turnbull’s wonderfully composed finish was the icing on the cake.

Gboly Ariyibi and Jake Hastie have terrorised the visiting defenders down the flanks and it was the latter who set up the goal.

Hibs’ new signings have been fairly quiet. Stephane Omeonga is on a booking and is naturally taking a while to adapt to the speed of the Scottish game. Ryan Gauld started brightly but saw less of the ball as the half went on.
