  1. HALF-TIME Hamilton 0-1 Aberdeenpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

Aberdeen have the edge at the break thanks to the in-form Sam Cosgrove but they've had to work for it. Hamilton are far from out of this one if they can rediscover the form they showed in the early part of the game.

  2. HALF-TIME Celtic 2-0 St Mirrenpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

The home side are in the control of the scoreline and in complete command of the play at Celtic Park. Goals by Oliver Burke and Scott Sinclair were the reward for midfield domination and some bright, dynamic moments in attack.

  3. HALF-TIME Hearts 1-1 Dundeepublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

Dundee will feel hard done by after that first half. They had the better of the opening 45 minutes and were ahead through Genseric Kusunga before losing an unfortunate equaliser to a cruel deflection.

  4. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

Motherwell hold a deserved lead at the interval with David Turnbull's goal just a couple of minutes before half-time separating the sides.

Turnbull sped on to the excellent Jake Hastie's through-ball to stroke home for Stephen Robinson's men.

Hastie and new signing Gboly Ariyibi have menaced the Hibs defence no end, with Curtis Main twice coming close to scoring before Turnbull's effort.

The visitors have been poor - really poor. Hibs have struggled to keep the ball, their passing has been wayward and their defending decidedly ropey. They've got it all to do in the second half.

  5. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

A 35-yard free-kick from Liam Craig for St Johnstone is as close as we've come to a goal in what has been a drab affair. Liam Kelly did well to tip it over. Let's hope for better after the break.

  6. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangerspublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

Well, it didn't take long for Jermain Defoe to make his mark for Rangers as he prodded the visitors in front after an almighty scramble.

But Kilmarnock levelled on 23 minutes as Eamonn Brophy picked the pocket of a dithering Joe Worrall to run on and slam in a fine finish.

    It's been fast and furious.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Celtic 2-0 St Mirren

The home side threaten again, with Mikael Lustig meeting Ryan Christie's free kick with a looping header. St Mirren goalkeeper Vaclav Hlady is relieved to gather the ball on his line.

  8. goal

GOAL Motherwell 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    David Turnbull

Two of Motherwell's teenage starlets combine for a cracking opener.

The excellent Jake Hastie bursts away up the right flank and strokes the ball into the path of the onrushing David Turnbull.

The midfielder caresses it beyond Ofir Marciano first-time - brilliant finish.

  9. goal

GOAL Hearts 1-1 Dundeepublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Jesse Curran, own goal

A really unfortunate one for Dundee. Hearts win a free-kick wide on the left and Olly Lee's delivery nicks off the one-man wall of Jesse Curran and drops into the net.

  10. Nothing Hastie now...published at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

First-choice Motherwell right winger Chris Cadden, who’s injured, is sitting in the stand watching Jake Hastie make a bright start in the same position. Hastie is only 19 but powerfully built and isn’t giving Hibs players any time on the ball.

  11. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

Ryan Kent gets plenty on the shot from just outside the penalty area but the fizzing low strike is straight at Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    St Johnstone 0-0 Livingston

St Johnstone midfielder Liam Craig almost fires in a 35-yard free-kick. It goes up and then dips down brilliantly, but Liam Kelly is alert and tips the ball over.

  13. Hearts change things up toppublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Hearts 0-1 Dundee

Hearts manager Craig Levein is not hanging about as the hosts struggle. January signing David Vanacek comes off and on comes veteran striker Steven MacLean.

  14. Ariyibi wreaking havocpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian

Another near miss for Motherwell, and it's Gboly Ariyibi who provides it.

The January signing has looked very sharp in the opening half-hour and burns past Steven Whittaker before speeding along the by-line.

Ariyibi fizzes a low ball across the face of goal, but it's just too far ahead of the sliding Curtis Main.

  15. 'Aberdeen finding their groove'published at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Hamilton Accies 0-1 Aberdeen

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at Hope Stadium

That goal will be hard to take for Accies, who’d done well in the game so far. But Max Lowe’s power and energy was beginning to cause problems for the home side. It was he who found May in space to measure the cross for Cosgrove. Aberdeen’s front four is extremely fluid and when they find their groove, they’re dangerous.

  16. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Celtic 2-0 St Mirren

Celtic's should be on easy street here. Oliver Burke does well on the edge of the area to spin and then slide the ball into Callum McGregor's path, but the midfielder lashes his effort over.

The one-way traffic continues as Emilio Izaguirre sees his shot from distance drift wide.

Hibs' Porteous forced offpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian

Ryan Porteous, just back from injury, has hurt himself desperately diving in an attempt to block Curtis Main's flick-on.

The big Hibs defender is forced off, with Sean Mackie replacing him. That means captain Paul Hanlon will shift from left-back to centre-back.

  18. 'Worrall has had a shocker'published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Rangers

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Quote Message

Worrall has had a shocker. You just don't get that amount of time on the ball. He has got options but he just dwells on it. He's stuck on his feet and Brophy's on it. He knocks it, there's no chance Worrall's catching him but he still has to retain the composure to beat a world class goalie like McGregor. It's a brilliant finish.

  19. Perfect start for Celticpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Celtic 2-0 St Mirren

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Celtic had not overly threatened before the opener but were dominating possession looking for a gap to exploit.

It came from a wonderful free kick delivery from Ryan Christie which curled into the six yard box and found Oliver Burke diving to head home.

Questionable defending but it was all about the delivery.

It quickly got worse. Lee Hodson went down injured and before they could replace him Stephen McGinn upended Scott Sinclair inside the box. The winger finished emphatically.

A nightmare start for Oran Kearney’s side who are already right up against it.

  20. Main must score...published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2019

    Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian

Huge opportunity for Curtis Main to break the deadlock at Fir Park.

The big Motherwell striker latches on to a gorgeous curling ball, flicks it beyond Ryan Porteous, but scuffs his shot tamely at Ofir Marciano with just the Hibs goalkeeper to beat.
