A second change for the hosts as Rickie Lamie is replaced by Scott Tiffoney.

    Livingston 0-2 Rangers

With a comfortable lead, Rangers are holding on to possession with long passing sequences in midfield, looking to spring attacks when openings arise rather than forcing the play.

Alfredo Morelos picks up a pass from a racing Daniel Candeias but the striker's first touch in the box is heavy and Craig Halkett gets across to block the shot.

  3. Call of the Wylde for Livipublished at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    Livingston 0-2 Rangers

Livingston make a change and it's former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde replacing lone striker Dolly Menga, who was a fitness doubt before kick off.

Does that mean Chris Erskine will take over up top? It looks like it.

Chances will be few and far between for Livingston. That's two they've had - Steven Lawless in the first half and Dolly Menga in the second, and they've failed to hit the target both times.

    Livingston 0-2 Rangers

Declan Gallagher joins the Livingston attack and the big defender does well to brush off an opponent and lay a pass off for striker Dolly Menga. The striker is leaning back as he hits it first time and the ball sails over.

The wait for a Livi shot on target goes on.

I can't see any way back for Livingston. You would expect Rangers to go on and score a couple more

GOAL Livingston 0-2 Rangerspublished at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    Ryan Kent

    Redemption for Ryan Kent.

Again it's James Tavernier causing problems for Livi as he cuts in from the right to set up a shooting chance for Scott Arfield. Alfredo Morelos gets a flick on it and Liam Kelly does well to block but the ball falls to Ryan Kent and the on-loan Liverpool winger absolutely smashes it home.

That's another bad miss for the visitors... James Tavernier whips in a peach of a cross and Ryan Kent makes a great run to get in front of his man but then scoops his first-time wide from close range.

A spot of head tennis in the Rangers box and the ball almost falls for Scott Pittman near the penalty spot but Borna Barisic gets an important foot in to clear.

    FT: St Mirren 1-3 Hibernian

"We owe it to the fans to come to places like this and pick up three points," says Hibs defender Darren McGregor after the win at St Mirren, achieved in the absence of manager Neil Lennon.

"Eddie May and Grant Murray have been brilliant with us. It's great that they can come in and fill the void.

"Everything else is white noise. We get paid to play and we have to concentrate on our jobs once we cross the white line."

  12. 'Easy 45 minutes for McGregor'published at 16:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    Quote Message

There's no doubt Rangers deserve to be in front, they've been the dominant force. Allan McGregor won't have had an easier 45 minutes all season. But as the half wore on Livingston started to come more into the game and Rangers stopped doing what they had been doing.

Almost an opening for the hosts as Stevie Lawless overhits a pass from the edge of the box intended for Shaun Byrne. He gets that right and the Livi midfielder is one-on-one with the keeper.

  16. Postpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

Just a few minutes until the break and the home side are getting more men forward. Nothing to trouble Rangers goalie Allan McGregor though.

Livi are still in the game, they don't need to go gung-ho. Get into the Rangers half at some point and ask a few questions from set-plays.
