The game has come to life after that dour first half. Stephen McGinn hammers in a low shot and Ofir Marciano reacts well to claw it off his line. The ball pops up and Simeon Jackson is in to try and nod it home but Darren McGregor sticks up a leg and manages to hook it clear in front of goal.

Fantastic goal from Hibs, brilliant. Stevie Mallan does really well in the pocket, 40 yards from goal, and it's a good finish from Oli Shaw.

    Oli Shaw

St Mirren fans are still wondering how their team is not 2-0 up and now the game is level as Stevie Mallan slips a pass through to Oli Shaw and the substitute slides a cool finish under goalkeeper Vaclev Hladky.

    St Mirren 1-0 Hibernian

St Mirren break from defending a corner and Hibs goalie Ofir Marciano can only knock the ball against Kyle McAllister as he sprints from his penalty box. A turn from McAllister puts Marciano on the ground but the keeper manages to get a foot on the ball. McAllister tries to go round him again and shoot from 20 yards but fails to find the target, with Marvin Bartley gathering the tame effort near the byeline.

    A big, big chance wasted.

There's not much to Ryan Gauld, but the slight midfielder is able to bundle a dithering Stephen McGinn off the ball before lashing a shot narrowly wide from 20 yards.

A warm round of applause from the home fans as goalkeeper Vaclev Hladky comes through traffic to punch away a deep cross from Vykintas Slivka.

  10. Hibs send for Shawpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    St Mirren 1-0 Hibernian

Daryl Horgan is hobbling badly after taking a heavy knock from Paul McGinn late in the first half and it's obvious that he can't run it off. On comes striker Oli Shaw and that will mean a formation change for the visitors.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    St Mirren 1-0 Hibernian

We're up and running again. No changes in personnel as St Mirren captain Stephen McGinn soldiers on despite limping through spells of the first half.

  12. Livi short on strikerspublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

    Livingston v Rangers (16:00)

Livingston must do without top scorer Ryan Hardie today, since the 21-year-old striker is on loan from Rangers.

Injury delayed his start to the season but he has made up for lost time with five goals in eight league outings.

Lee Miller (calf) and Dolly Menga (hamstring) are injured, while Jack Hamilton has joined Alloa on loan, leaving the hosts short on options up front.

The team list should be with us in around half an hour.

Hibs have not managed to come from behind and win this season.

  15. HALF-TIME St Mirren 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2019

St Mirren are ahead thanks to a predatory strike from Simeon Jackson. Since then the home side have been the brighter side.

If any of these Hibs players are pleased to see the back of Neil Lennon, it's not apparent. The visitors have been pretty hopeless really, with striker Florian Kamberi very isolated up top.

A dreadful pass from Greg Tansey gives Daryl Horgan the chance to spring an attack for Hibs. The Irishman chops inside and drills in a low shot that a sprawling Vaclev Hladky pushes away and play is stopped as an offside Florian Kamberi is first to the loose ball.

There have been a lot of fouls in this game. An awful lot. Here comes another one as Paul McGinn clatters through the back of Daryl Horgan. The full-back is cautioned and the Hibs midfielder is still down getting treatment.

    Quote Message

It looks as if Hibs have tweaked their formation. Slivka was out on the far right side and wasn't involved. He's just come inside and Gauld looks as if he has drifted out there. Slivka will be hoping to get on the ball more.
