Gordon: I'm watching both games tonight and Scotland's performance is much better than England's.

Tubbychef: England have played well in all their matches, until they score. Then they just seem to switch off & get sloppy. Can't do this against the better teams.

Hina Sugita has looked sharp for Japan tonight. She sees a gap in England's defence and feeds an excellent ball through to substitute Yuika Sugasawa.

Thankfully for Karen Bardsley, the Japanese striker's touch is poor and it rolls into the keeper's hands.

We are up in the Gods here, about six foot from the roof so have a decent position to see what England are up against. They seem to have a real problem playing out from the back at times, which is not helped by the front four not offering enough movement.

Maybe Karen Carney can help matters? She'll definitely offer some extra experience and guile.

Alan Guest: England have been too defensive in this half, but probably doing enough. However I'd still like to see an English second goal.

Andy Davis: I’m astounded Japan still haven’t played Rumi Utsugi big mistake in my opinion.

Jill Scott gets caught on her heels in midfield and Japan quickly break. It falls to Yuika Sugasawa on the edge of the box but her strike lacks power and it's comfortably held by Karen Bardsley.

I think Keira Walsh did well although at times she was caught in possession.

Jade Moore is on for England. She replaces Keira Walsh, who has struggled a little in midfield.

The ball bounces off the referee so in the new rule, it's dropped back at the feet of the player who had possession last.

So it's back with Japan in midfield.

I'd like to see Ellen White staying higher up the field so she can be an outlet for England.

She keeps dropping deep to help out but England need her up top.
