That's why she's one of the best around.

Georgia Stanway is certainly not short of confidence. As the England band's volume increases, she lines up another long-range strike but it bounces harmlessly wide of the keeper's right post.

Adam Robinson: Japan's keeper with some stunning stops. England can turn on style at any time which is impressive but switch offs in play and sudden losses of the ball are a worry as long as it is remaining 1-0 against a Japan side who will keep going till the end. Need a second goal to kill it.

There are small group of Japan fans behind their goalkeeper's goal, who are equalling the England band in the drum-banging stakes.

They haven't had as much to cheer as England's lot, but they were up from their seats to cheer that Ayaka Yamashita save, who is having a fine game.

Japan make their first changes. Kumi Yokoyama is replaced by Yuika Sugasawa and Narumi Miura is on for Rikako Kobayashi.

Rachel Daly has been so good today. She links up with Lucy Bronze again before Keira Walsh's shot is blocked on the edge of the box.

Greg Mortar: England been sloppy this second half can't be complacent while it's only 1-0.

Rachel Daly chips it down the line to Lucy Bronze and the Lyon full-back lifts a perfect cross in towards Toni Duggan.

It's slightly behind Duggan but she adjusts her body and volleys it into the ground, towards the far corner. The keeper scrambles to make the save!

England have not looked convincing when they haven't been able to play out from the back. Japan are asking that question of them at the moment and, so far, they haven't had any answers.

Phil Neville looks to his assistant Bev Priestman and shakes his head frustratingly.

Bev just looks back apologetically as if to say, 'yeah, I don't know what's wrong either.'

England are inviting Japan onto them at the moment and it's because of the sloppy passes. They need to make sure their standards are kept high because the last five or 10 minutes haven't been good enough from England.

The ball comes over to Emi Nakajima on the right side of the box after yet more neat work from Japan.

They are so careful on the ball and it's just too easy to cut through at the moment. Nakajima's strike is a poor one though.

Nikita Parris doesn't look too impressed on the England bench. It's been a sloppy few moments from her teammates.

She will be dying to get on and run at these Japanese defenders.

Japan have come out the better team. Its slick passing through midfield before Rachel Daly does well to sneak in and intercept the ball on the edge of her own area.

England then needlessly give away the ball in midfield.

Hina Sugita does well to evade Keira Walsh and Georgia Stanway in midfield before threading it through to Mana Iwabuchi on the left.

She tries a few step-overs but Lucy Bronze is equal to it and coolly pokes it away.

England's tempo is really good but they need to control the ball still.

I like it when Georgia Stanway gets the ball and drives at the Japan defence - because if they back off - she's got a great shot on her.

Scotland have scored again! New Arsenal signing Jennifer Beattie is the goalscorer.

They now lead Argentina 2-0 and look set to get three crucial points. Will it be enough for survival?

England play fantastically well when they get players close to each other. That's when they can play those intricate one-twos.
