Manchester City won the game on Wednesday and kept up their winning run but still went out so that was a real hammer blow.

It is about the mental fortitude to deal with the fact that City have to win every single game until the end of the season.

Pep Guardiola prepares his teams so forensically that they will be ready for today though. Tottenham's tails are up so there is pressure on City today and it really is in the balance.

Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho could be fit to start, having played as a substitute against Spurs in midweek on his return from a muscular problem.

Tottenham look likely to be without Moussa Sissoko, who was substituted on Wednesday because of a groin problem.

Eric Dier returned to training on Friday after a hip injury and could be involved this weekend.
