This is the final act of this April trilogy between Manchester City and Tottenham.

Can they produce anything to rival the events of Wednesday night?

  4. 'Spurs will go for it'published at 12:28 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I believe Spurs will go for it here. They'll play on the counter and they'll be clinical.

  5. 'We need to forget the Champions League now'published at 12:28 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino: "We didn't sleep too much [on Wednesday night] but the happiness allows you to feel strong and with energy, and of course now we're thinking about the game on Saturday.

"We don't have time to enjoy and we need to forget the Champions League now and try to be ready for Saturday because it's going to be a battle.

"It is our responsibility all together to try to make sure we are going to be there on Saturday with the capacity to fight and challenge them again."

So here's how it stands before kick-off...

  7. 'City to win by two or more'published at 12:27 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Sam Wallace
Chief football writer for The Daily and Sunday Telegraph on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester City have to win this game, Spurs don't. That changes the dynamic and I think City will win by two or more goals.

  8. 'Champions League will influence Premier League title race'published at 12:26 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on Football Focus

I think the Champions League will have an influence on the Premier League title race.

The advantage is now in Manchester City's favour with two matches coming out of their schedule.

  9. Postpublished at 12:26 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    John Murray
BBC Radio 5 Live at Etihad Stadium

Mauricio Pochettino acknowledges that Spurs cannot operate in the same way as the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United.

While that generally appears to be a negative, it then looks like a really big positive that they can get into the Champions League semi-finals with what they do have.

  10. 'I just have a feeling for Liverpool'published at 12:25 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Both teams here cannot afford to slip up. And I just have a feeling for Liverpool, I don't think they will this year. I think they just have the edge on this occasion.

The Manchester derby will be a hatred atmosphere and that is what it should be. It doesn't matter where you sit and what position you are in. Talking from personal experience it is about beating your rival and getting one over on your opposite number.

  11. The run-in...published at 12:24 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

It's a seriously tight in the title race, with Manchester City and Liverpool looking set to take it to the wire.

City have a game in hand on their title rivals, but that comes against neighbours Manchester United on Wednesday night.

  12. 'Ridiculous to suggest Tottenham better without Kane'published at 12:22 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on Football Focus

It is ridiculous to suggest that Tottenham are a better team without Harry Kane. He is a world-class striker, simple as.

People have said Son Heung-min takes more responsibility without Kane but that is a different conversation.

Tottenham losing in the week to Manchester City but still going through in the Champions League was a weird scenario but they will still take it.

  13. 'Spurs will need reinforcements to challenge'published at 12:22 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Sam Wallace
Chief football writer for The Daily and Sunday Telegraph on BBC Radio 5 Live

If Spurs want to compete for the title, they could sign some players for a start. They've broken the rules in quite an exciting way over the last five years. Their net spend is astonishing but they still haven't won anything, which will be disappointing.

But when you look at the tremendous excitement of Wednesday, it's all worth it.

I like the notion of giving young British academy players a chance - it won't work forever and they'll need reinforcements. I just can't see them ever competing for the same players as Manchester City or Manchester United.

Here are the PFA Young Player of the Year nominations...

    • Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)
    • Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
    • David Brooks (Bournemouth)
    • Bernardo Silva (Manchester City)
    • Declan Rice (West Ham)
    • Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

The favourites are Raheem Sterling and Virgil van Dijk.

I thought Ben Foster deserves to be on the list. It's a bit of a curve ball but he has been excellent for Watford.

Sterling would be my choice for the award.

  18. 'The leaders won't allow the Champions League loss to affect them'published at 12:14 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

There would have been smiling faces in the City's training session on Friday. If you dwell on things then it'll impact what happens in the Premier League.

The leaders they have the dressing room - I don't think they would allow that type of thing to filter and affect them.

  19. 'It will be just as intense'published at 12:11 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Man City v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "I think the game against Spurs will be just as intense as the other day.

"If you believe it doesn't hurt, you're wrong, but we have to live with that. We lost [the tie] but I was so proud. The performance we did was incredible.

"We are going to attack - it won't be easy because they are an incredible top team, but we will try.

"The title race for us is Tottenham at 12.30pm. What Liverpool do at Cardiff I cannot control."

Nyangaresi: Nothing tops Newcasle's incredible comeback against Arsenal. Overturning a 0-4 halftime deficit to draw 4-4 with the Gunners was epic. Abou Diaby's moment of madness and Cheik Tiote's brilliant scorcher will forever be etched in my mind. Best game ever.

Syed Moinuddin: Has to be when arsenal won the league at Anfield in 1989... in the words of amazing Brian Moore... it’s up for grabs now

David Randall: Playing in goal in a very early FA Cup qualifying round about 20 years ago. Very one sided yet we were only 1-0 up when the opposition got a late pen. The taker rolled the ball to me as he had slipped, not been fouled. Wonderful sportsmanship.
