Oh dear. Kevin De Bruyne is in trouble.

He boots the ball out of play and sits down in the middle of the pitch waiting to be seen by the medical staff.

    Bad news for Pep Guardiola.

    Man City 1-0 Tottenham

This is pretty relentless from Manchester City.

Kevin De Bruyne the latest to threaten with a driving run through midfield, before it falls to Bernardo Silva again.

He checks on to his left foot and fires low at goal from inside the box, but it's straight at Paulo Gazzaniga - Spurs just can't keep hold of the ball.

Bernardo Silva is loving it out there, cutting in from the right and watching his fierce left-footed strike deflect wide for a corner.

Oooooh. Dele Alli that is superb play. Dicing with danger but he did it brilliantly.

Alli's got the showboating bug now, dancing away from three Manchester City players in midfield. Now you see me...

Oi oi! Dele Alli gets one back over Bernardo Silva after being robbed a few minutes ago by nut-megging the Portuguese. Cheeky.

    Man City 1-0 Tottenham

Huge interception from Davinson Sanchez, diving at full stretch to get his head to a pass and stop Sergio Aguero going through on goal.

It's Manchester City who are looking incredibly dangerous after Spurs' early chances to pull level.

Manchester City have the lead but Spurs have actually had the better chances, which will be something of a concern for Pep Guardiola.

John Stones is settling after a very sloppy start while Phil Foden, even apart from his goal, is confidence personified showing vision and industry.

It was a reversal of the first goal, this time Sergio Aguero peeling off to the opposite post but he strayed offside. We've heard that before this week.

Great ball from Raheem Sterling, but Sergio Aguero is offside.

The striker moved a fraction too early and nodded it wide anyway from Sterling's deep cross.

    Man City 1-0 Tottenham

Raheem Sterling - Sergio Aguero - Bernardo Silva... just the three PFA Player of the Year nominations in the starting line up for Manchester City today.

Silva draws inside this time and looks to thread a pass through a huddle of Spurs bodies into Phil Foden's path, but just puts too much on it.

It was Silva's cross that set up up the goal and the diminutive midfielder is proving a real threat off the right flank for City.

Silva's involved again as he pulls it back for Phil Foden on the edge of the area.

The teenager looks to pull the trigger on his left, before switching on to his right but it's a comfortable save for Paulo Gazzaniga in the end.

Bernardo Silva is absolutely furious and I think he might have a case, even though Jan Vertonghen emerged with the ball.

It's a really tough one for the referee there. But Vertonghen got the man first, so that's a penalty.

I have seen them given! Vertonghen was a bit lazy, dragging his foot through like that.

Spurs are definitely looking to hit Manchester City on the break here, and it's working... the hosts look dangerous going forward but Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura are enjoying success as the outlets for Tottenham.

That was an excellent tackle by Aymeric Laporte. I thought he was beaten.

What a pass. What a tackle.

First Christian Eriksen slings a superb ball into the path of Son Heung-min to set the South Korean free and bearing down on goal, but it's a remarkable covering tackle from Aymeric Laporte.

    Some game so far.
