Mahrez again on the ball, he wants Kyle Walker to come and overlap him but the England man doesn't. Mahrez then overhits a cross and Watford's back four won't mind that at all.

Riyad Mahrez is the early danger man, he has the beating of Jose Holebas every time and sees another cross well cleared. Heurelho Gomes comes for a corner and rather flaps at it but gets away with it...

I'm looking at Watford, it looks like they are going to drop off into a 4-5-1 formation when City have the ball. But they cannot do that all game and allow City time to pick a pass, as they will score.

Riyad Mahrez puts in a dangerous cross and David Silva attacks at the near post - it loops up for an easy first save of the final for Heurelho Gomes.

Very lively start to the game with both sides looking to attack at pace when they get on the ball. Gabriel Jesus is back inside his own half to start a City move though - I still can't believe they've left Sergio Aguero on the bench.
