Andrew Priestley: Raheem Sterling displaying a ruthless goalscorer’s mindset trying to pinch that goal on the line from his teammate!

James O'Hara: This has the potential to get very ugly for Watford.

The City fans are ending the half in tip-top voice, as you'd expect. This has been another superb half from the champions. Watford have also played well but City have a commanding grasp of the dine margins in either penalty area.

Watford's appeals for a penalty are waved away by Kevin Friend as Abdoulaye Doucouré's strike appears to strike Vincent Kompany.

You could feel that coming. The quality Bernardo Silva possesses is just brilliant. It may go down as a Raheem Sterling goal.

Simon Turner: Wonderful cross from Bernardo.

Joe Baker: Second goal is proof it was a mistake putting Gomes in goal. No space for sentiment in a cup final, Foster should have been selected.

The Wembley big screens gave that second goal to Gabriel Jesus but it's officially gone to Raheem Sterling. My gut was proved right for the first time in a while.

Sam: As a Luton fan I feel like I'm in the minority wanting City to win big. I usually support the little team but not this time! A historic treble awaits.

Mark: Two nil and not even half time. Give them the trophy now.

    Raheem Sterling?

WHAT a pass by Bernardo Silva. Absolutely superb stuff as he bends time and space to find Gabriel Jesus running in on the left of the six-yard box. Jesus stretches to keep it in play, across goal and Raheem Sterling leathers it into the back of the net from on the line.

    Was it already in?!

Watford need to re-group and get back to doing what they were doing. They were causing Manchester City problems.

If they can go in at half-time at 1-0 then that's still close enough to get themselves back into this game.

The Watford crowd are a lot more anxious.

For a team full of artists, Manchester City don't half work hard. It's very much the Pep Guardiola hallmark and it's very noticeable in the flesh. Gabriel Jesus channels back to hold off Troy Deeney and start another attack which leads to yet another corner.

It is all City and if they get the second I fear the worst for Watford. They are a lot better than they have shown, but since the goal they have been all over the place.

Luke Pedley: Ederson was key to that City goal. So good as suppressing attacks by standing 40 yards further forward than any sane keeper would.

James Burch: Two mistakes by the ref have given City the lead. Watford deserve this so far.

More Hornet angst, towards the linesman now as he gives a throw-in City's way. Superb from Adrian Mariappa! Reads the danger and stops Raheem Sterling getting a shot away.

    Keep it together...
