Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez, speaking to Match of the Day: "I am really pleased. This group of players from beginning until the end have worked really hard. We never gave up, even when we were safe in the last three games they were still giving everything.

"We have one more point than last season but couldn't finish 10th so it proves this season has been more difficult than last season."

On meeting Mike Ashley to discuss his future: "We meet hopefully this week and see where we are. We have plenty of time to enjoy, I have been very clear about the potential of this club."

The Amex is about to turn into the Etihad as the club pump out 'Blue Moon.'

The City squad have changed into 'Champions 19' shirts and are about to pop out and lap up the acknowledgement of their away fans.

Cardiff City

Cardiff manager Neil Warnock: "We were super today, so were the amazing fans. I am really proud of the whole club. We did not set out to defend and thought we and to put a dent in some of the bookies today.

"My last game in the Premier League, I wanted the players to play for me today. With a bit of luck, we would have stayed up. We have developed as a team, it is disappointing but to come to one of the best grounds in the world and win, the fans will never win it.

"I am having a meeting with the chairman and chief executive on Monday. The club is in a strong position from when I took over and they can push on like Burnley did when they went down. I will leave the club in a good state whenever I leave.

"The fans have been brilliant all the time. I have never worked as hard as I have this season, I have never had so many knock backs and then I get a performance like that after being relegated.

"I felt the club needed me when the Emiliano Sala tragedy happened. I felt I had to be the front man, it was difficult and I have never experienced anything like that. We came through it intact and I am proud of that."

Liverpool's players are going on a well deserved lap of honour - all the home fans have stayed to acknowledge the efforts their players have put in.

Thirty wins, nine in a row, 97 points. Phenomenal.

West Ham United

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini speaking to BBC Sport: "We are happy to finish the way we did. I think that we have grown a step this season. We need to work to have a stronger squad for next season and we have been unlucky to have some many important players out with injury.

"We didn’t start well but Mark Noble’s goal changed the performance and we had lots of chances. It’s always good to score four goals away from home.

"We can improve on points, goals scored, goals conceded but compared to last season I think the fans have enjoyed it more.

"I never put targets on a season. We must have a winning mentality and we will judge from the first game what we can do."

Manchester City will celebrate with fans tonight at a homecoming event at the Etihad Stadium.

The players will be live on stage with the Premier League trophy at approximately 22:00 BST following their flight from Brighton to Manchester, with doors for the event open to fans from 20:30.

So get down there if you'd like.

Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez: "It was a great game. The early goal helped us a bit when they were pressing. We had the experience on the counter attack. The third goal killed the game. Credit to them because they were pushing then.

"I am really proud of this group of players and the fans were amazing as well. "Finish 13th is important for everyone. It is a good position and I am really pleased.

"Now is the time to enjoy and the fans go back happy. I am really proud. This group of players, even in bad times, never had their heads down they were still believing and working hard."

On his own future: "I said before that I have seen the potential but now is the time to enjoy."

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson, speaking to MOTD: "It was a fantastic end to the season. It is nice in a way now that I am standing here on the right end of the result that it was wonderful we could offer that spectacle to our fans in the final game of the season.

"Of course to get to that scenario you have to suffer. I thought at 3-0 we would have a relatively comfortable second half but that wasn't the case. Funnily enough for as many goals scored there were probably three times as many chances. It was an attacking party out there.

"We were finding it hard to contain them but they were finding it even harder to contain us."

Liverpool

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah to Sky Sports: "We only lost one game all season. We gave everything. We got 97 points. We will fight next season for the title."

Liverpool's total of 97 points was good enough to win 116 of the previous 119 titles. It's been a remarkable season and they have one game left to make sure it doesn't end empty-handed.

The 31st goal today was the 1,067th in the Premier League this season, setting a new record for most goals in a 38-match campaign.

The previous record was 1,066 in 2011-12. Aguero scored on the last day of each!

Bruno gets a guard of honour as the right-back is welcomed back onto the pitch. When he joined the club from Valencia in 2012 he probably didn't really imagine hosting a Premier League title win in his last game.

He's emotional as he takes to the mic to speak to the club's fans.

West Ham United

Mark Noble speaking to BBC Sport after scoring his 50th goal for West Ham in their 4-1 win at Watford: "I’m not sure where the first goal came from as I don’t usually score goals like that!

"It’s pleasing after the way we started the season. If we’ve played like we had for the last month, we’d definitely be finishing higher.

"We’ve played some really good stuff this year and the fans can be excited for next season.

"It’s really hard to break into the top six as financially they’re so strong. We want to break into the top eight next season and we’re going in the right direction."
