Rangers have confirmed they will face Progres Niederkorn at Ibrox a week today, before travelling to Luxembourg for the return the following Thursday.
Can the Ibrox side banish the nightmares inflicted by the minnows two years ago that left Pedro Caixinha standing in a hedge? Surely they will.

Before Kilmarnock did their best to ruin the night, things kicked off in successful fashion as Aberdeen defeated RoPS in Finland.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes spoke to us after his side clinched a Europa League second-round qualifier against Chikhura Sachkhere of Georgia.
Chikhura Sachkhere saw off Fola Esch of Luxembourg in their opening qualifier and McInnes on BBC Scotland Sportsound: “My chief scout watched both games and the feedback is they are a decent team clearly, but it’s a tie we can win.
"Hopefully Craig Bryson and Greg Leigh will be back to play some part and Funso Ojo will be back in selection as well.
“There’s room for improvement but for a team who’ve had eight new signings, injuries to deal with already, there’s a coping mechanism there and strength in the squad that will serve us well."

Kilmarnock manager Angelo Alessio has been speaking to BBC Scotland Sportsound: "It was very disappointing. In the first half we had three opportunities to score, but in the second half the game was no good. We tried to find the solution but we conceded two goals. The first, all the defenders were there, but this can happen. At the end of the game for the penalty, I'm not sure if it was offside or not, I don't know. In the last 10 minutes our idea was tired.
"Yesterday I said 'no complacency' because I've played in a lot of these games. But today I repeat, we had two opportunities to score.
"Every action was a foul, a yellow or red card. Unbelievable. Connah's Quay gave away a lot of fouls, but this is their strength.

In the second half they were dragged into a battle, then Nomads started to play a little bit. I didn't know they had that in their locker and their first goal was a cracker. Scotsman Andy Morrison, the Connah's Quay manager, tells BBC Scotland Sportsound: "Barcelona went to Liverpool and lost 4-0 - this is a bigger result in Europe. It's one of the biggest upsets in the history of Europa League.
"The level of what we've achieved tonight is something quite remarkable. You could see for large periods what a good team they are, but we were too savvy and too clever and worked them out. We always believed we'd get a chance and we took them.

"It's a monumental achievement by them all. The lads are going to get back home at five in the morning, six of them have work tomorrow and then we've got to get ready for Serbia next week."

One punter here at Rugby Park just said 'Don't worry, we'll have a new gaffer soon enough'. He may have been joking, but it's a terrible start nonetheless for new boss Angelo Alessio. There's no question expectations have been raised here after Steve Clarke worked miracles to get the club into Europe. On the evidence of tonight, those expectations may have to be slightly lowered. Early days of course, but the Italian will now be under some pressure to hit the ground running in the Premiership.

In all the drama at Rugby Park, let's not forget the result from Ibrox where Rangers obliterated St Joseph's 6-0 on the night to record a 10-0 aggregate win.

The game turned when Connah's Quay scored their second of the night. It was Stuart Findlay's clumsy challenge that caused it, resulting in a penalty and a red card. Callum Morris converted, and the Scottish Premiership side couldn't find a way back.

You can barely hear the referee's full-time whistle for the jeers booming around Rugby Park.
This was not in the script. A catastrophic second-half saw Killie not only lose two goals but also go down to 10 men as they capitulated against an organised and committed Connah's Quay side. What a result for the Welsh side.
