It's been very bright right from the start. Conditions are perfect and they're using them to tear Chikhura apart. I thought Aberdeen would take this tie quite comfortably, the opposition came into it in the last five minutes or so, but up until that point they've been under pressure and Aberdeen have ripped them apart. Two fabulous goals and they look good to take this tie.

    Aberdeen 2-0 Chikhura

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Aberdeen are playing open expansive football which is pleasing the large home support. Prior to kick-off, the Dons knew they had to be wary of Chikhura as they have shown they are a dangerous side on the road in Europe, having failed to score in only one of their last five away Europa League ties. But Sam Cosgrove’s second goal on the night has assuaged those concerns.

  5. Rangers missed chances but Progres couldn't hurt thempublished at 20:22

    FT: Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Quote Message

Rangers found so much space but just couldn't capitalise, they had three or four chances at the end of the second half to be really comfortable and up on aggregate, but missed the lot. And that's down to Progres, not going all out in attack, but opening up a little bit but they just didn't have he quality to hurt Rangers

  6. FULL-TIME Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangerspublished at 20:20

A clean sheet and a place in the next round of Europa League qualifying for Rangers, who secure a 2-0 aggregate win over Progres to ensure lightning doesn't strike twice in Luxembourg.

Looks like Rangers have fine good business with Liverpool again this season. Very early days, but Sheyi Ojo really looks the part in midfield.

  10. CLOSE!published at 88 mins

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

How on earth is this second leg still goalless? Rangers captain James Tavernier tees up Aribo but his effort is straight down the throat of Progres keeper Sebastian Flauss.

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

    Quote Message

The Rangers fans are going to get a lot of joy and have a lot of fun watching this lad this year. He's got blistering pace. Sometimes when you've got that you aren't comfortable on the ball, with this guy it sticks to his foot and he glides. He's got the awareness to pick out passes too. What a good player Sheyi Ojo looks.

  12. Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangerspublished at 85 mins

Five minutes plus added time remaining in Luxembourg. Alfredo Morelos is thwarted as he attempts to drag the ball back inside the box before getting a shot away but the Colombian fails to get an effort away.

  13. Progres posed little threatpublished at 20:10

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Quote Message

The way Rangers have managed the game has been really good. I was worried for a spell during the first half and a couple of slips up here, a glorious chance Progres missed. Two five minutes spells in either half is all Rangers have had to worry about. I think they'll see this out comfortably now, just as long as they focus.

  14. CLOSE!published at 81 mins

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

Rangers substitute Alfredo Morelos is denied by some last-gasp Progres defending to keep the second leg goalless.

Seconds later, Sheyi Ojo fires a shot inches wide of goal following clever work by Morelos.

  18. Defoe goes closepublished at 74 mins

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

Jermain Defoe fires a howitzer at goal, deflected for a corner. Rangers can't profit from the subsequent set piece and it remains goalless in Luxembourg.

Moments later, Rangers captain James Tavernier blazes a shot high over the bar.

  19. Dons 'cruising' at Pittodriepublished at 20:01

    Aberdeen 1-0 Chikhura Sachkhere

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

He just can't stop scoring the big man, Sam Cosgrove. It took a deflection but he set it up really well. Taking it with his left, drilling it with his right and a wee deflection over the goalkeeper. It was on target and well worked and Aberdeen are really cruising this early in the game.

  20. Rangers inching closer...published at 72 mins

    Progres Niederkorn 0-0 Rangers

As Billy Dodds pointed out earlier, Progres lack the predatory instincts to get back in this tie and Rangers are all but through in this one.
