Ideozu-Frank Sampson: No argument here and I can still see City winning this by far! Raheem Sterling for the hat-trick! Yeah, you heard it here first.

I am watching both the cricket and football. Us Bournemouth fans know all about comebacks - cast adrift at the bottom of League 2 to playing Premier League football. There is hope.

"We've got Harry Wilson on the wing, on the wing" is the Bournemouth fans' latest ditty. Substitute the word "Redknapp" for "Wilson", and it's a chant that dates back more than 45 years to when this ground (and this club) was unrecognisable from how it is today.

Harry Redknapp, incidentally, is here as you'd expect to watch his local team - rocking the pale blue shirt/beige chinos summery look as he was interviewed on the pitch at half-time.

This is game on now from Bournemouth, they want that equaliser. I think Ederson is Manchester City's man of the match at the moment, he is really keeping them in it.

Ilkay Gundogan is replaced by Rodri in Manchester City's midfield. Can he help City regain control of this match?

  10. CLOSE!published at 56 mins

    Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

Bournemouth are playing some good football now.

Ryan Fraser slips it inside to Joshua King after a marauding run down the left. It's whipped into the box shortly after but Callum Wilson can't quite get a foot on it.

The hosts retain possession and a deep cross from the left causes all kinds of problems for Ederson, who has to claw it away with Wilson purring at the back post.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 53 mins

    Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

Harry Wilson has turned this game on its head. He slips it through to Callum Wilson in the box but Ederson makes himself big and pulls off a crucial save.

City immediately go up the other end and it comes to Kevin de Bruyne on the edge. He tries to curl it into the bottom right corner but it misses by inches.

  12. CLOSE!published at 51 mins

    Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

David Silva has a snap shot from the left side of the box which Aaron Ramsdale has to react to.

It's not fully cleared and a cross from the left hits Oleksandr Zinchenko at the back post and falls for Raheem Sterling.

His shot is deflected out for a corner.

Chris Mepham is back to cover as David Silva threads another ball through to Raheem Sterling.

  14. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

Harry Wilson takes the ball off Oleksandr Zinchenko in the opposition box and plays a through ball on the right.

But he's caught late by Raheem Sterling and Bournemouth want a free-kick. Referee Andre Marriner says he played advantage but the fans aren't happy.

    HT: Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

Last season, Man City enjoyed 82% possession at the Vitality and came away with a 1-0 win. They are dominating the ball again this time but Bournemouth seemed to finish that half as the stronger team.

City are lacking a bit of intensity. Will Pep Guardiola give them a push at half-time?

    HT: Bournemouth 1-2 Man City

Last week I caught up with Tom Brewitt, a former Liverpool academy player who has recently joined League Two's Morecambe, and we chatted about Harry Wilson.

The pair lived together in Merseyside and have been best mates since the age of about eight. Brewitt said Wilson always stays back after training to work on his free-kicks.

He also said Wilson likes to tease Brewitt about his goals and will surely be gloating about this one later!

deldude: Pick that one out. The bend, the curve and the dip that left Ederson clutching the air. Fantastic goal from Harry Wilson.

Harry Wilson is going to be a real asset to Liverpool in the near future and gaining valuable Premier League experience now can only help matters.
