Bournemouth 0-0 Man City
The first big chance for Man City and it falls to Bernardo Silva. His namesake David Silva is at the heart of it, flicking it through to Raheem Sterling on the left side of the box.
Sterling's cut-back is then fired inches wide of the right post by Bernardo.
Bournemouth 0-0 Man City
Neat and tidy from Bournemouth as they bring it out from the back. Philip Billing is then quickly put under pressure by Ilkay Gundogan and the Cherries have to start again.
They look to release Joshua King down the right but Aymeric Laporte is back there to cover.
Bournemouth 0-0 Man City
Oleksandr Zinchenko has a tussle with Adam Smith and needs his face wiping as there's a bit of blood trickling from his nose.
While he's off getting treatment, Kyle Walker comes crashing in on Nathan Ake and gives a foul away near the touchline.
A feisty start!

Bournemouth have well and truly exorcised one particular statistical ghost from this fixture last season.
They've had a shot!
Bournemouth 0-0 Man City
This is unusual. Kevin de Bruyne is caught napping on the ball in midfield by Joshua King. The Bournemouth forward darts towards the edge of the box but his shot is straight at Ederson and it's a comfortable save. Good pressing though!
Bournemouth 0-0 Man City
And we're off at the Vitality.

Chris Prior: My grandad has watched City since the 40s. He's seen Trautmann, Oakes, Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Doyle through to this current crop. You ask him for the best and he'll tell you - David Silva. Scored at Hull on my wedding day and set up Aguero at OT when my eldest was born. Hero.
Vin Joshi: United fan here. You've gotta give credit to David Silva not just for his talent on the field, but for being so humble off it. No transfer requests, no glamorous holidays, just football. Something a lot of players can learn from on the other side of Manchester.
Louise Morgan: Best I've seen in a City shirt! Absolute class! Merlin.

At least Ederson's head will be cool following his new trim...

Out come the players, led by team captains Steve Cook and David Silva. Bet they wish they could wear sunnies for the game!

There may be no Gabriel Jesus today, but Raheem Sterling has been Bournemouth's nemesis for the last few years.
Dating back to his time at Liverpool, he has scored 10 goals in his last eight games against the Cherries.
And he's scored in every game so far this season...

Kyle: David Silva has probably been Manchester City's best player in the premier league era along with Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany. My first memory of him in a Manchester City shirt was that beautiful through ball for Edin Dzeko to make it 6-1 to City at Manchester United. Brilliant pass.
When you talk about favourite opposition player David Silva has always been right up there on my list.

Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe speaking to Sky Sports: "It’s a tough challenge ahead of us today. We know that we have to be good defensively.
"We know we’re not going to have a lot of possession, so we’ve got to be very good off the ball and then when our chances come we have to be clinical.
"The conditions add another dimension to the game, it’s very hot and the pitch will be slightly sticky."
Bournemouth v Man City (14:00 BST)
Manchester City are unbeaten in all 14 meetings with Bournemouth and have won their eight Premier League fixtures by an aggregate score of 25-3.
But City's draw with Tottenham ended a run of 15 straight league victories since they lost to Newcastle in January.
Bournemouth v Man City (14:00 BST)
Bournemouth's attacking players are practising their finishing at one end of the pitch in the warm-up.
They're working on first-time strikes from crosses coming in from either side. It's crucial they are clinical today - you don't get many chances to score against Man City!
As Mitch pointed out below, they didn't manage a single shot at the Vitality last season.
Joshua King's effort just now flew over the bar...

Tez: Never mind the world class skills and ability to control a game. David Silva mentality to produce the goods week in week out while his son was in hospital cements this legend's greatness.
Mark O'Neill: Brilliant player. He will go down in City folklore as a legend.

The corresponding fixture last season had Bournemouth on the end of an unwanted stat - as they failed to register a shot at goal, or a corner, and had less than 18% possession, despite restricting City to a 1-0 win.
They were the first home team not to have a shot in a Premier League game since records were first collated.
However, the Cherries' last-gasp win over Tottenham in the final home game of last season means in four years they have recorded Premier League victories over Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea on this ground (plus Chelsea twice at Stamford Bridge). Manchester City remain the league's last "big beast" yet to be slain in Dorset.
Bournemouth v Man City (14:00 BST)
Fear not Cherries fans, there is some hope.
Bournemouth's only two home wins on Sunday in the top flight have been against 'big six' sides (4-3 v Liverpool and 2-1 v Arsenal).
And they have options on the bench. Since the start of last season, Harry Wilson has scored 10 goals from outside the box in all competitions, more than any other player in English football.
Tottenham v Newcastle (16:30 BST)
Glorious!

Bournemouth v Man City (14:00 BST)
Man City will still be annoyed about last weekend when VAR ruled out that late winner against Tottenham but it should be a routine win this weekend.
The problem for Bournemouth is that City have the ability to unpick their defence. Eddie Howe's side had a good win against Aston Villa but I can't see them getting a result here.
Prediction: 0-3
