    Hull City have loaned centre-back Jacob Greaves to Cheltenham for six months, after tying the defender to a three-year contract extension.

    Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday have signed Massimo Luongo from QPR for an undisclosed fee and Newcastle's Jacob Murphy on a season-long loan.

    Wigan Athletic have signed Leeds United left-back Tom Pearce for an undisclosed fee, plus Wolves forward Bright Enobakhare on loan.

    And in League One, Tranmere Rovers have signed Chelsea midfielder Jacob Maddox on a season-long loan deal.

    Manchester City confirm that Leroy Sane suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee.

    The winger picked up the injury in the Community Shield victory over Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.

    He has undergone testing by a specialist doctor and will have surgery this coming week.

    Cardiff City are still hopeful of a few additions and have shown late interest in Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack.

    Striker Isaac Vassell completed his move from Birmingham before the window closed, while Fulham look to have won the race to sign forward Bobby Reid.

    Reid's deal expected to be around £10m.
