Mark Taylor: I believe that with Maddison fit the only chink in the Foxes armour is Jonny Evans. As a United fan I would liken him to Smalling, fairly solid defender that cannot play a pass.

Kris Jefferson: Really feel Newcastle are in danger this season, seem to just go into defensive mode from the start of matches, and the front 3/4 just haven’t seemed to click yet, looks like being another long hard season.

When Newcastle do get their opportunities to get forward, they need to make the most of them.

This is poor from Sean Longstaff though, clipping a free-kick straight into the hands of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Newcastle break and there is plenty of space for defender Fabian Schar to run in to or feed Yoshinori Muto.

Instead, from inside his own half, he attempts to lob Kasper Schmeichel from range but screws his effort way wide.

Muto ain't too happy with that decision.

Leicester are causing Newcastle problems everytime they get forward.

Harvey Barnes has been impressive and sees his well-shaped cross cleared by Martin Dubravka's Superman punch, before Dennis Praet sees his follow-up blocked on the line by Paul Dummett.

The rain is getting even heavier. Steve Bruce’s mood is getting even worse. He just gave both barrels to Joelinton for something... the Brazilian wisely responded with a thumbs up.

The destructive Wilfred Ndidi at it again, bullying Yoshinori Muto off the ball on the edge of the Leicester area.

Got rid of N'Golo Kante and brought Ndidi in, that's some scouting system.

Since the start of last season, only Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold (16) and Andy Robertson (13) have had a hand in more Premier League goals amongst defenders than Leicester's Ricardo Pereira (10).

They will all meet next week in a tasty fixture at Anfield.

Steve Bruce looks to the sky, his annoyance written all his face in the aftermath of the Leicester goal, giving a little shake of his head as he watches the replay on the big screens at the King Power.

Moments before his side conceded, Bruce’s frustration was evident when the ball was played long, instead of wide where Christian Atsu was in space on the left.... that proved very costly too.

You know the King Power is going to be rocking when the Leicester fans get their hand-clappers out.

The hosts are well on top, Newcastle are not going to score today.

Ricardo Pereira has scored in back-to-back Premier League games for the first time, netting as many goals in his last two appearances as he had in his first 40.

Leicester almost grab a quick-fire second as Ben Chilwell is played in - that is so easy.

He attempts to dink Martin Dubravka but the Newcastle goalkeeper gets a hand on it and the England international's follow-up is cleared off the line by Jamaal Lascelles.
