What a goal this is. Brilliant from Leicester's point of view but awful from Newcastle.

The Newcastle players part, they open up and what a finish to give Dubravka absolutely no chance.

A brilliant finish by Pereira on his weaker foot.

    Ricardo Pereira

Started and finished by Ricardo Pereira.

The Portuguese full-back takes the ball in his own half and plays a neat one-two with Ayoze Perez.

Pereira then runs and runs and runs, no Newcastle player can - or is able - to get a foot in and he drills a precise, low left-footed shot into the bottom corner.

    Superb finish.

First corner of the game falls to Leicester, but Youri Tielemans' delivery is headed away by Jamaal Lascelles.

In the next move, the Belgian meets Ayoze Perez's deep cross to the back post but the left-footed volley is deflected wide.

    Corner.

    NO!

Referee Craig Pawson says goal kick.

    Unbelievable.

It's really interesting the tactics Newcastle have set up with.

Dummett looks like he is man-marking Perez, Krafth is man-marking Barnes, and their two centre-backs look happy to deal with Jamie Vardy between them.

Steve Bruce not bothered by the rain - he has not sat down yet and cajoles and instructs his players whenever they come near his technical area.

Joelinton getting asked to drop in more when Leicester have possession. ‘Longy’ (Sean Longstaff) getting yelled at a lot by Magpies coach Stephen Clemence too.

Miguel Almiron has been causing plenty of problems so far.

The Paraguayan darts in behind the Leicester defence and cuts the ball back for Isaac Hayden.

The Newcastle midfielder drills in a low cross-come-shot and Yoshinori Muto sticks a foot out at it, but is unable to get any purchase and the ball rolls away for a goal kick.

Thumbs up for good deal, thumbs down for not.

“Get at them, get at them,” yells Steve Bruce as Newcastle’s Christian Atsu runs at the Leicester defence.

I’m sat on the touchline near the Magpies boss so I can hear every word. I am getting a bit wet at the same time though.

What a start to the game, it's end to end football right away. We thought Newcastle would set up to defend but they have made the pitch big and are looking to switch the play.

Almiron has been the player looking to get on the ball and make something happen.

Leicester almost in in the opening few minutes.

Harvey Barnes cutting the ball across for Ayoze Perez, whose low shot is gathered by goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Should have buried it, but would it have stood? Jamie Vardy was lurking in an offside position though he did not touch the ball.

    We will never know.
