Mark Taylor: "Pen all day long".Watch it again Tom, no way.
Javel Bleach: Lol, penalty bought half-price by Sterling! See him smile after hearing the whistle. I could win 10 of those every game if they're all given.
Manchester City 2-1 Atalanta
Pep Guardiola was fuming on the bench when Rodri went down injured by the way, whacking the side of the dugout. Was he angry that John Stones wasn't ready to come on? Not sure.
Not happy though.

Son must start. Every game. Always. I don't care if he has flown back from the moon and landed 20 minutes before kick off. Get your boots on lad, you are starting!

Manchester City 2-1 Atalanta
John Stones is on for Rodri. Bit of a reshuffle needed?
Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Red Star Belgrade
Quite a night already for Erik Lamela. The Tottenham forward has assisted two goals in a single game for the club for the first time since August 2014 against QPR.

"You're not singing anymore" was the chant from the City fans when they equalised and they were right - for the first time tonight, the Atalanta section was silenced.
It's the City fans who are making all the noise now, saluting the man who has just put them in front - Sergio Aguero.
Manchester City 2-1 Atalanta
Just what Pep needs - another injury. Rodri is down.
Juventus will have to come from behind in Turin - Lokomotiv Moscow have taken the lead in Group D. Joao Mario's shot is initially blocked by ex-Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny but Aleksei Miranchuk makes no mistake with the follow up.

Justsaying: Remember Spurs had a good first half hour against Bayern. Red Star playing a bit better now. Watch out Spurs!

I've been thinking why Tottenham haven't been the same pressing team this season and I think for Tanguy Ndombele, getting up to the speed that's necessary for the Premier League is going to be crucial because you can see when he's in possession that he's got some wonderful attributes. Out of possession, I think he's still got a lot of work to do to give that Tottenham back four the protection they need. But with Moussa Sissoko, I think they do have an athletic presence they don't have when Harry Winks is there.
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Spurs having things pretty much their own way at the moment. Son and Lamela prominent, Red Star have had one two moments but no alarms.
Clouds have rolled away - for now.
Sergio Aguero (Pen 38 mins)
As confident as you will see from Sergio Aguero. One step, buried into the bottom corner.
Manchester City 1-1 Atalanta
Raheem Sterling glides past defenders so easily, he is into the area and he's tripped by the lunging Andrea Masiello. Pen all day long.
Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Red Star Belgrade

Tottenham have been forced back a bit deep. On both the left and right side of the box, Red Star are overloading Tottenham's full-backs, getting round and putting good crosses into the box.

Radio 5 live senior football reporter
My eyes have been drawn to the stand away to my left, high up in the third tier.
I said that no Red Star supporters were allowed to buy tickets - or certainly Red Star the club were not allowed to sell tickets to their fans.
I mentioned that I actually bumped in to quite a few on the tube. there must be, I would guess, there are two or three hundred supporters who have a line of stewards around them up in the gods acting as some sort of segregation.
So the Red Star supporters, they are a passionate bunch and they are watching their team.
I suppose the fact that it's not a sell-out, you were always able to buy tickets here for this game.
Large numbers that have made the trip though.
Sergio Aguero (34 mins)
City weren't behind for long - that's almost undefendable stuff from Raheem Sterling. Beats his man on the inside, flashes in a cross between the last defender and the goalkeeper and that's Sergio Aguero territory.
He gets there first and toes it in to the back of the net. Meat and drink.

Just wonder if the bit of luck that Spurs got at the weekend has helped to turn their season around?

The Atalanta fans are - literally - bouncing at the moment.
The rest of the Etihad is in stunned silence. City had just woken up and were on top when they conceded that penalty.
