Spurs have been very average and a lot of it is down to Sheffield United being so good. The only negative for Chris Wilder at half-time is that they are not ahead.

The only problem for Sheffield United is: will Tottenham play like this in the second half?

Newcastle have just scored one, and nearly got another immediately afterwards. It fell to Joelinton, who fired over from 12 yards, cue an extremely angry and frustrated Steve Bruce.

This VAR is a shambles. You can't even see where Ryan Fredericks' foot is. That's been disallowed but the first goal shouldn't have stood either! It hit Ashley Barnes and went out for a goal-kick but the referee's given a corner - we all missed it earlier.

So, so close to a first Newcastle goal for Allan Saint-Maximin. There's a mix-up in the Bournemouth defence between Steve Cook and Adam Smith, it falls to Saint-Maximin, who blasts it goalwards, but it bounces off the underside of the bar and stays out.

It then comes to Jetro Willems, whose volley is smartly pushed wide by Aaron Ramsdale.

Almost a second for Bournemouth. A ball is played forward, Ryan Fraser gets there before Martin Dubravka, who had charged off his line. Luckily for the home fans, there are covering defenders and the ball is cleared off the line by a Newcastle man, with DeAndre Yedlin getting there just in time.

John Lundstram was at Everton when he was younger but he got let go because they weren't quite sure whether he had enough quality. He's really kicked on. He looks like a top player, he's reliable and he's scoring goals.

Sheffield United have gone to Spurs, they've not sat back and defended. They're having a right good go today.

A rare attempt at goal from Tottenham, but Serge Aurier's 30-yard ambitious effort is well wide.

Mauricio Pochettino is in his technical area getting soaked and barking orders at his team, unhappy with what he is seeing so far. Sheffield United very much the better team at the moment, but it's still goalless.

Spurs are all over the place at the back and they so nearly fall behind. A corner is not properly cleared, it is pulled back by Chris Basham to John Lundstram, running on to the shot, he hits it from 15 yards out and the ball thunders off Paulo Gazzaniga's right post.
