  1. 'He should have been a size nine'published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

    Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on Final Score

He should have been a size nine, not a ten, then he'd be onside.

Richard Browne: VAR is a disgrace. Stop this madness now.

John Ashenden: VAR is absolutely killing the game, ridiculous decision at Tottenham. Get rid of this rubbish

Ten Hi: VAR is so broken. If you need 5 minutes and a microscope to figure it out, it's not offside.

    VAR saves Tottenham yet again

  3. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-1 Everton

    What's happened to Everton?

There was only one team in this in the first half but Jordan Pickford is forced to make a flying save to keep out James Ward-Prowse's free-kick.

    Southampton are suddenly looking dangerous.

  4. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Burnley 3-0 West Ham

Another Burnley chance and another save from Roberto Jimenez. This time Chris Wood is denied. Moments later Ben Mee has the ball in the back of the Hammers net after a corner but it will not count.

  5. VAR

Video Assistant Referee - Sheffield United have goal ruled outpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

No goal for David McGoldrick. No goal for Sheffield United. Tottenham still lead.

McGoldrick thought he had scored his first Premier League goal. An offside, by the smallest of margins in the build-up before he even got the ball, cancels it out.

    The decision took three minutes.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Burnley 3-0 West Ham

This could turn very ugly for Manuel Pellegrini.

There is still another half an hour on the clock and Burnley are running riot.

Phil Bardsley lets fly from distance and this time Roberto Jimenez gets down to push it behind.

  7. VAR

Video Assistant Referee - Sheffield United goalpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

Nothing wrong with David McGoldrick's finish, but the VAR check is looking at an earlier pass before the ball found its way to McGoldrick. We are talking millimetres here, but this could well be chalked off.

  8. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    David McGoldrick (Sheffield United)

Tottenham's lead only lasts two minutes. Or does it?

David McGoldrick taps in following Enda Stevens' low cross. But wait, but wait, but wait.

    VAR to have its say.

  9. 'One chance and they're behind'published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

Sheffield United have been terrific so far in this game. Spurs didn't have a shot on target in the first half, United certainly should have scored in the first minutes of the second half and somehow, one chance and they're behind. Spurs will be dleighted because they've not been at their best.

  10. 'You can't write Spurs off'published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Very harsh on Sheffield United. The ball falls for Son, really really lucky, but when he gets it he does what he has to do.

You can’t write Spurs off, they have got the quality to hurt you.

  11. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Burnley 3-0 West Ham

Unless West Ham can turn it around, they'll go into the international break on the back of seven league and cup matches without a win.

Long winter ahead for the Hammers?

  12. 'Chocolate wrists'published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Burnley 3-0 West Ham

    Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on Final Score

First one, Roberto Jimenez should have caught it and punched it out. Second one, he threw out to a player with his back to play. This one's the worst of the lot. Instead of trying to catch it, he's flapped at it and chocolate wrists has missed it.

  13. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Son Heung-min

Tottenham had a shocking first half, Sheffield United had the better chances and the away side have gifted Spurs the lead.

Dele Alli tries a through pass in a crowded penalty area, Enda Stevens gets there but can only pass the ball straight into the path of Son Heung-min and he shoots low past Dean Henderson.

Son was sent off last week for his challenge that saw Andre Gomes suffer a serious injury, but then had the red card wiped out to be eligible to play today. And Son scores today.

  14. goal

GOAL - Newcastle 2-1 Bournemouthpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Ciaran Clark

From one down to 2-1 up. Jetro Willems' cross from the left is met by a free header by Federico Fernandez and Ciaran Clark is in the right place at the right time to bundle it over the line from close range.

  15. GOOD SAVE!published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Sheffield United

Tottenham finally, after 50 minutes, have a shot on target. Son Heung-min shoots hard and low left-footed, but it is heading in before Dean Henderson dives to his left and gets two hands to the effort. He can't keep hold of the ball, but parries it out to stop Harry Kane having a tap-in.

  16. goal

GOAL - Burnley 3-0 West Hampublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Roberto Jimenez (own goal)

    That's an absolute howler!

Burnley win a corner and Ashley Westwood delivers it into the mix. Keeper Roberto Jimenez looks to have it covered but his attempt to punch it clear ends with the ball spinning into the net.

He won't want to see that again.

  17. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-1 Everton

Gylfi Sigurdsson forces Alex McCarthy into a finger-tip save. This is a decent game now Southampton have turned up.

  18. 'Mousset shot went millimeters wide'published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Sheffield United

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Unbelievable chance! Mousset did everything right.

He can’t understand how he missed the goal, he has turned Davinson Sanchez inside out and his shot went just millimetres wide from the back post.

If Sheffield United were 2-0 up you would have no complaints whatsoever.

  19. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-1 Everton

Southampton scored with just their second shot of the game. Their last six league goals have been scored by Danny Ings and James Ward-Prowse - three each.

  20. CLOSE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United have another chance. They're going to regret not taking these.

This time Lys Mousset is on the right wing and runs at Davinson Sanchez, before the away man spins beautifully to create space for a snap-shot, but pulls it just wide. Lovely move, but not to be.
