    Newcastle 2-1 Bournemouth

Newcastle are pushing for a third. Saint-Maximin tries to go around the keeper, but Aaron Ramsdale gets a hand to it, with Saint-Maximin left on the deck.

But the follow-up attempt from Miguel Almiron hits Saint-Maximin and goes over the top. Nearly game over for Bournemouth.

    Burnley 3-0 West Ham

West Ham have had 62% possession at Turf Moor but are heading for another defeat. Their next two games after the international break? Tottenham at home followed by Chelsea away.

  3. 'All about the right delivery'published at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

This goal is all about the delivery in the right spot.

Sheffield United played the ball wide and Spurs were defending really narrow.

They deserved that and it’s now game on.

  4. 'Lucky but Sheffield United deserve it'published at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

Thankfully they've given the goal! It's probably a bit of luck for Sheffield United, but with what's gone against them in this game and the way they've played, they've deserved it.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-2 Everton

Stuart Armstrong deflects Alex Iwobi's cross on to Southampton's woodwork. Iwobi have been busy since coming on.

  6. VAR

Video Assistant Referee - Goal given, Sheffield United equalisepublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United

Sheffield United had a goal cancelled out for an offside earlier in this half and their fans are holding their breaths again.

This time though the pictures show that no-one is offside and it's 1-1.

  7. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    George Baldock (Sheffield United)

Another VAR check though. George Baldock's cross from the right is mis-hit, Chris Basham had gone up for a header but can't get a touch and it goes straight in from Baldock.

  8. 'Everton show real character'published at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-2 Everton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

It's just what Everton needed. I spoke earlier in the day about when Everton concede goals, they can be a bit flaky, but to concede that goal, be on the back foot for 10 minutes, and then find a way to get back in front, that's the most pleasing thing. It shows real character and it was a great goal, a perfect ball from Djibril Sidibe.

  9. Postpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Southampton 1-2 Southampton

Southampton have conceded 21 goals in their first six home Premier League games this season – the only top-flight side to concede more in their opening six are Blackpool....in 1930-31.

  10. Offside... by a big toepublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

This is why Sheffield United are not level against Tottenham. The ball was played down the right wing, then switched to the left, where Enda Stevens' low cross was tapped in by David McGoldrick.

But the first pass in the move, the one down the right wing, is adjudged offside and Sheffield United are left frustrated. The rest of us are just left baffled.

GOAL - Southampton 1-2 Evertonpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Richarlison

    Everton have a hero!

It's a smart finish by Richarlison but hats off to Djibril Sidibe who carved out the chance and provided the cross.

Marco Silva is ecstatic. I've never seen the Everton manager so animated.

  12. 'Who wants to go to a match and wait for VAR for three minutes?'published at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

    Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United

    Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on Final Score

I think there's arrogance involved as well. The Premier League have put a different interpretation on it from Europe, where you have referees checking monitors - and who wants to go to a match and wait for VAR for three minutes? It kills it.

DJ Truthsayer: VAR is officially a joke. That may have helped Spurs but holy good lord, his foot was all of a millimeter off side. Utter shambles, feel sorry for Sheffield United, they deserve to be level. Also nearly 4 minutes to make a decision is unacceptable.

Ivan Wainewright: When a player is 1" offside, when a toe is offside... This is not what VAR was created for. No manager complained when that used to happen. Just wrong.

    VAR is our best player!
