    Liverpool 3-0 Man City

    Chris Sutton
Former Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

How good is this from Jordan Henderson? He goes past Gundogan, Claudio Bravo misjudged the height of the cross, it goes over him and Mane gets his head to it.

Bravo will be disappointed: it was clinical from Mane but a chocolate-wrist from Bravo: another error from the keeper.

City are not coming back from this.

Dejan Lovren then throws his body in front of a Raheem Sterling shot to prevent a goal-bound effort.

GOAL - Liverpool 3-0 Man Citypublished at 52 mins

    Sadio Mane

BIG mountain for Manchester City to climb now.

Liverpool's crossing has been on point in this game and another superb delivery provides the ammunition to add a crucial third goal.

Jordan Henderson delivers from the right and Sadio Mane is waiting at the back post to squeeze a header in between Claudio Bravo and the post.

    What a performance from Liverpool.

Manchester City play a short corner, Kevin de Bruyne's cross deflects off Andy Robertson to Ilkay Gundogan and his drive at goal loops behind off Roberto Firmino. Another corner to City but this one comes to nothing.

  8. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Liverpool 2-0 Man City

Manchester City really need Kevin de Bruyne to come alive more in this half. He was busy but not as effective as he can be.

Jonah Anton: Frantic, hectic, frenzied - suits Klopp’s men to a tee. Fancy Liverpool to run away with this 4,5, maybe 6-0. Angelino the only obstacle for double digits.

If Liverpool do not win the league now they will be the new Spursy team

    Paul from Liverpool

Every year Pep tries a new formation in a huge game and loses, normally its the champions league knockouts. 4-4-2 with De Bruyne up top? His passing from midfield is city's best weapon - Pep's taken that away.

FPV Steve: Liverpool need this healthy gap in points because their end of season run-in is much more difficult than Man City’s. Going to be a loooong season for Liverpool fans...

Khan Karn: Liverpool have had 2 very unlucky VAR decisions this year but today it is not about VAR. They have been far and away the better team

Louie Taylor: City incredibly unlucky, firstly against spurs when a ridiculous handball decision costs them 2 points, and now again with a more blatant handball not given!

  16. 'Michael Oliver will see he got that wrong'published at 17:25 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2019

    Liverpool 2-0 Man City

    Chris Sutton
Former Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I just don’t get it, with what we have been told about the hand-ball rule that has to be the definition of a penalty: why has it not been given?

Why on earth does nt Michael Oliver not take it upon himself and look at it on the monitor?

Later on he will see that decision and know that he got that wrong.

Well it didn't take long for the below entry to come true. Five minutes into the game in fact.

  19. 'A perfect half from Liverpool'published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2019

    Liverpool 2-0 Man City

    Chris Sutton
Former Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a perfect half from Liverpool. They defended well, Allison has not been worked many times and then they had that threat on the break.

I don’t understand whythe penalty was not given to City, but that’s a question for Stockley Park.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:18 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2019

Half time and very much advantage Liverpool.

Big 45 minutes - both in this game and the title race - to come.
