    Kevin de Bruyne picks up the ball just inside the Liverpool half. Sergio Aguero waits and is played onside by Dejan Lovren as the pass comes in. Aguero races towards goal but Virgil van Dijk does an excellent job of shutting down the angle and the Manchester City forward sends a low effort wide of the far post.

    Garett: More blame should be on Aguero for that first goal. VAR or no VAR, you always play to the whistle. As unreliable as VAR is, you can't stop playing and hope that the system works in your favor.
