That is the strangest of goals. It comes off the thigh of Victor Lindelof. What a strange goal. They looked at David De Gea who was under pressure.

    Victor Lindelof (OG 36 mins)

    Goal given!

Right, let's describe that one. Leighton Baines whips in a beauty of a corner, David de Gea can't punch it out under pressure, the ball hits Victor Lindelof facing his own goal and bobbles in.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a hand up and into the face of De Gea as he tried to punch it. Keepers get everything so I'm surprised that one wasn't overturned...

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Not sure I've mentioned Harry Kane yet all game but he now has a half-hearted word with referee Stuart Attwell after a tumble in the area. He nutmegged a man and went down under pressure but the ref isn't having it...

Leighton Baines' free-kick is a good one and is headed out, Mason Holgate lines up a 25-yard volley... and it very nearly goes out for a throw.

    Manchester United 0-0 Everton

Everton force a corner, their fans are in full voice and the ball in is one their manager would have relished but United are able to clear in the end. Good spell for the visitors though as we pass the half-hour mark.

The rain has drenched Duncan Ferguson's suit jacket and so he just politely removes it and braves the Trafford rain in just a shirt and tie now. You try handing him an umbrella.

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Apart from his late substitute appearance against Chelsea last week, Leighton Baines has not played a first-team game for Everton since February.

Clearly Marco Silva was not a fan of the 35-year-old.

Marcus Rashford lines up the free-kick, all sorts of swerve on the ball and Jordan Pickford just about punches it out. A bit of an ugly save but good enough!

  13. CLOSE!published at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Wolves really could and should be level! Diogo Jota again beats his man down the left and finds Raul Jimenez inside the area, the ball is rather under his feet and he has to toe-poke it wide.

Jota then has another shot blocked as Wolves have their men on the rack...

    Manchester United 0-0 Everton

It's nice to see Leighton Baines getting some game time. He has not been getting a lot because of the excellent form of Lucas Digne. He is a really experienced player and not a bad substitute if you have to make changes.

Leighton Baines is on - as Lucas Digne limps off.

Tom Davies trips Scott McTominay in a dangerous area and just for a moment it looks like Michael Oliver is going to show Davies a second yellow.

    He survives.

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Wolves have some horrible players to play against, and I mean that very much as a compliment. Diogo Jota skins Davinson Sanchez down the left-hand side, cuts inside, beats another man and then shoots - Paulo Gazzaniga punches it out and Dele Alli completes the clearance.

Wolvs playing well here but still they trail.

United playing well, with the exception of Jesse Lingard. He offers nothing and slows down the game with wrong decisions.

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Lucky escape for Wolves as they have a corner cleared, Son takes a touch on the edge of his own area but somehow fails to run on and score from 80 yards. Poor.

Instead Wolves win it back, Joao Moutinho whips in a cross which Raul Jimenez nudges wide. Good game this.
