    Got any work on George?

Arsenal have gone six games without a win at the Emirates across all competitions (D3 L3); their longest run without a home win since between December 1994 and February 1995 under George Graham (eight games).

Manchester City are four points behind Leicester then, and meet them next week. BIG.

Manchester City strolled through the game and it was far too easy. There has to be questions asked about Freddie Ljungberg now, they are worse than under Emery and they are going backwards. They need to make some decisions quickly and put Ljungberg out of his misery. He looks like a rabbit in the headlights.

Get someone in who has some clout. The decision makers will have watched the game and seen the difference in class. We know Manchester City are good but Arsenal should not have been that bad.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles trudges over to an Arsenal fan and hands over his shirt. The fan seems to be encouraging the youngster who looks utterly distraught after that. Cannot have been a fun 90 minutes.

  5. ouch!

Raheem Sterling ends the game lying on the ground in a bit of pain. Cramp or something worse? Would be a real shame to pick up an injury in a testimonial.

All the people saying Foden needs to leave City, has anyone ever actually heard him suggest is not happy? He's 19, has already won a hatful or trophies and is developing under one of the best managers in the game

    Daniel

Foden is the best player England has produced in years?! Not sure about that.

Almost four once again - Kevin de Bruyne sends in Raheem Sterling but he shoots wide. Again, De Bruyne could just turn and run 40-50 yards without even the whiff of a tackle.

Into the last few minutes. Only the real die hards still inside the stadium. Hard to watch, even harder to walk away.

I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing.

    I hear you.

I think the last person to make a tackle for Arsenal at the Emirates was Pascal Cygan.

It's men against boys. There is such a gap in class between the two sides. It's been too easy for Manchester City. All the Manchester City players have hardly broken sweat. It's a measure of how easy this game has been for them.

Nealry four - Raheem Sterling plays in sub Riyad Mahrez who has a narrow angle and nearly threads the ball through the legs of Bernd Leno but the German makes a good barrier stop.

Arsenal are a mid table team nothing more expectations are way too high.

This is actually quite hard to watch. I'm no Arsenal fan but even as a neutral you reach a point where a team has had enough.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

Joe Willock is Arsenal's last change as the cameras pick out the now unused Alex Lacazette on the bench, leaning back in his seat, wrapped up to the elements, looking thoroughly cheesed off with life.
