Former Wolves winger Michael Kightly on why Adama Traore's form has been so good this season: "I think it is his confidence. I played against him when he was at Middlesbrough and he was ridiculously quick - I was reasonably quick as well!

"At that time thought he could be unbelievable but you wondered about his final ball. At the start of his time at Wolves he was in and out of the team but he has been given the licence to do what he does best and he's full of confidence.

"Everything that Wolves do good comes through him. If he caries on he will end up getting a big move.

"His pace and power is as good as anyone in the league. How many people have got yellow cards against him? That's because no-one can catch him."

Jonny makes a good run in between the two centre-backs but Kevin de Bruyne is there to cover.

It bounces through to Claudio Bravo. At least he's getting a little warm-up...

Joao Moutinho tests Claudio Bravo straight away with a curling free-kick. It lacks power and whip and is a comfortable catch for the City keeper.

That's the first save under the belt!

    What a big moment.

Not only have City lost their keeper but Sergio Aguero has gone off to make way for Claudio Bravo.

Oh no, what a huge shame! It's Sergio Aguero who is sacrificed. On comes reserve keeper Claudio Bravo.

Aguero is given a sympathetic pat on the head by Pep Guardiola. He'll be gutted.

I think it is a red card, he's definitely caught him. I know Manchester City like to play keeper-sweeper but I think Kyle Walker could have covered.

  7. RED CARD - Edersonpublished at 11 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Man City

Manchester City are down to 10 men and have lost their keeper!

Diogo Jota is played in over the top and gets a touch on the ball, lifting it over Ederson before going to ground outside the box.

He thinks he's been clipped but the replay shows Ederson barely moves. Harsh one? I think so.

Both players are being checked over by the medical staff. Leander Dendoncker is still sat on the turf but he is awake and alert.

Benjamin Mendy is up and chatting to his team. He might have cut his lip in the clash.

This is the final match of the Boxing Day programme, so both sides are amongst those who are having to double up in less than 48 hours' time.

Wolves visit Liverpool on Sunday (16:30 GMT), with Manchester City entertaining Sheffield United slightly later (18:00 GMT) on the same day.

The programme has been condemned by virtually every Premier League manager, with Nuno Espirito Santo and Pep Guardiola amongst the most vocal.

Adama Traore is shoved off the ball by Raheem Sterling but the referee is happy and waves play on.

City look to build an attack down the left but Benjamin Mendy and Leander Dendoncker clash heads. A painful one!

That was the old Traore there, over-running it. With Jota and Traore, Wolves have loads of pace. They will be good on the counter attack.

Wolves eventually get the ball and immediately look to go long to Adama Traore. Fernandinho and Nicolas Otamendi just about deal with it but Raul Jimenez picks up the loose ball in midfield.

He slips it right to Traore but the speedy winger's touch is too heavy and it's out for a goal kick.

A sign of things to come? Man City are controlling possession - just pinging it from side to side.

Wolves' Romain Saiss puts a bit of pressure on Kyle Walker though and the full-back honks it out for a throw-in.

Former Norwich, Millwall and Wales striker Steve Morison on Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero's future:

"How do you replace Aguero? You don't. It is not easy to find a 30 goal a season striker. For me he doesn't get enough credit. He is unbelievable.

"The first thing I tell the youngsters I coach now is 'go and watch Aguero. Watch where he scores his goals from and how he scores them. Go and watch the best'.

"Pep came in and wasn't, it looked like at the start, overly happy with him. He wanted to improve him. You're improving someone who is already very good and that's amazing to see that he has got better. Now he's exceptional."

Adama Traore does the rounds with high fives for all his team-mates. At the other end, Nicolas Otamendi calls over "Sergio" for a hug.

"Hi Ho Wolverhampton," is being sung loudly in the background. Pep is looking tense in the dugout. We're all set.

Out come the players. Wolves' skipper Conor Coady says to his mascot in the tunnel, "are you going to be warm enough without a top on underneath? It's freezing mate!"

The little kid insists he's fine. "I'll be warm enough, don't worry!"
