    Oliver Norwood pen (36 mins)

The penalty decision stands and Oliver Norwood fires in from the spot to bring the hosts level!

That's Norwood's first Premier League goal of the season and Ben Foster was never stopping that one, too much power.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 0-0 West Ham

That's the half-time whistle at Selhurst Park. A forgettable opening 45 minutes in this London derby. Goalless at the break.

Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori steps up and has a go from range, Tammy Abraham dangles a leg out at it and the ball rolls into the hands of goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Nick Pope slips for the third time when lining up a kick... did he accidentally pack his moulds instead of studs? It came moments after Dominic Calvert-Lewin nodded over the bar. Everton starting to press for an opener.

  6. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal's defence doesn't defend as Joshua King slices through it like butter, running pretty much the length of the half to get into the box as Gunners players fall down around him before seeing his near-post shot denied by Bernd Leno.

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Goodison Park

The noise levels among the home fans are cranked up when their team runs at the away defence. Everton are managing to attack at pace and in numbers and Bernard was allowed to run at the Clarets players and slide a pass to Djibril Sidibe, but his effort was excellently blocked by Nick Pope.

But Everton have just had a warning at the other end. Ashley Westwood’s superb delivery from a deep free-kick found an unmarked Chris Wood six yards out. He headed over the top and would’ve been narrrowly offside but if you keep giving Burnley chances like that they will punish you.

  8. ouch!

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

Callum Hudson-Odoi's head nearly falls off his shoulders as he leaps for a high ball, spins over Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and lands on his neck.

Dan Graham: Ya know, I’m starting to think that appointing a “legend” as manager with absolute zero top flight experience is a terrible idea. WHO’D HAVE THOUGHT???

Adam C: Arsenal concede yet again from tippy tappy at the back under extreme pressure. They need to learn to hoof it!

  12. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal, despite some promising spells, are yet to draw any kind of save out of Aaron Ramsdale in the Bournemouth goal. Their crossing into the box has been poor.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Aston Villa 0-0 Norwich

It's a decent contest at Villa Park, both sides have had chances.

Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi diverts Matt Targett's cross...off target.

  14. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, always a willing runner, wins a free-kick out on Everton's left.

Gylfi Sigurdsson nonchalantly whips it towards Yerry Mina but it's headed behind for a corner, and Nick Pope smothers that delivery to get rid of the danger for the visitors.

Five to go until the break on Merseyside.

  15. 'Old school Watford'published at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Watford

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was one of the oldest of old school goals Watford have scored. Deulofeu is getting more room - probably because he's got more help up there - and it's straight through the middle and a lovely finish.

David Luiz not pushing up allowed that goal, he's such a liability.

    Chris, Woking

Love the guy but thought this would happen with Lampard. This appointing managers with no top flight managerial experience is utterly bonkers.

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

    Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge

A big seven minutes ahead at the end of the first half as Emerson wins Chelsea a corner. They need a big seven minutes here Chelsea.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

Brilliant reflexes from Saints goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, flying to his left to tip away Stuart Armstrong's inadvertent clearances which was heading into the far corner of the net.

  20. 'Disappointing from Arsenal'published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-0 Arsenal

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC 5 Live

Bournemouth have been sitting deep and Arsenal have so much of the ball. When you have so much of the ball, you have to remember to defend and nobody was marking or coming out to make the tackle there. Bournemouth did really well but's disappointing from Arsenal.
