    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw speaking to Sky Sports: "Very disappointed. We didn't really deserve that - especially 2-0.

"When it was 1-0 it was really good. We had that chance with Anthony Martial. The lads gave it their all. We didn't have many chances, but those that came we should have taken them.

"We know their qualities, and there were periods where we had to defend well. Last 30 minutes we controlled it. We didn't take our chances and they took them.

On defending the first goal: "Van Dijk is a massive guy and threat for them on set-pieces. It's disappointing for us.

"In the first half, over the past year - Liverpool have blown teams away in the first 20 minutes. We were still in the game until the 90th minute."

Liverpool are a great team that have shown unbelievable desire throughout the course of the season. The quality they have shown. They are just an all-round superb outfit, they really are. They have so much confidence in the way they play. Their commitment is second to none. They are led superbly by Jordan Henderson. There is no stopping this Liverpool team. They are the best team in the country by a stretch.

You can't say they didn't deserve it. What an assist from Alisson from a Manchester United corner. Salah finishes with aplomb and guess who is the first there to celebrate with him.

    Game. Over.

It is another simple, simple goal. Alisson's direct ball finds Salah with a whole half to run into because of United's commitment forward. Run the Egyptian does, right into the United box before sliding a shot under De Gea and in.

    What a roar.

I genuinely think this has been one of Liverpool's toughest games! Bear this in mind when you consider who is missing for United and the poor squad they have.

    Chris, Liverpool

Just want to remind all the people noting how one sided, battering etc this game is - EVERY SINGLE TEAM has lost to Liverpool this year. So what? United's season doesn't hinge on games like this. Chill out.

Fred delivers the ball to the back post, Maguire looks to steer it into the six-yard box and Van Dijk puts it behind.

From the following corner, Van Dijk again stands strong to clear. He's been superb today. And as it stands, his header is winning the game for his side.
