Such is the scarcity of attacking moves in this game, that probably ranks in the top three.

Arsenal are presented with a good opportunity as Sidibe goes to ground, the referee waves play on and Saka can charge forward. He has targets to aim at in the box but curls his cross over the goal and into the stand.

Goalkeepers Bernd Leno and Jordan Pickford have had nothing to do so far. Leno's only concern has been shielding his eyes from the sun.

Bit of a shout for handball against Arsenal in their own box. Would have been incredibly harsh to adjudge it so, as Yerry Mina's shot was into a group of players bang in front of him.

First yellow card is a daft one as Bukayo Saka is booked for preventing the re-start of play.

Luiz is in the thick of the action again, but a free-kick delivered towards him in the box is a foot too high and the Brazilian can't connect with his header.

David Luiz has flaws but he can sure ping a ball when he wants to. He sends a pinpoint pass across thew width of the pitch right to feet of Gabriel Martinelli, but the young forward is closed down sharply and another potential attack ends.

Bob Moss: Boy this game is dull, maybe they can bring the new managers on to play, can't be worse.

Arsenal have a go at trying to fashion something. They have a lot of possession in the Everton half but do little with it as the home side win a throw-in. Lots of promise but nothing produced.
