The conditions are playing a massive part in this. Southampton have got good control of the game, most of their play is going centrally with their wide men cutting in and the full backs getting forward. Burnley are looking comfortable though.

They defend so well and don’t let you have any space in between the lines and they’ve got Jay Rodriguez and Chris Wood to cause you problems up front.

Jannik Vestergaard faffs on the ball in his own half and is robbed by Jay Rodriguez. He's a little too far out to shoot so takes a touch and ends up losing possession.

Jack Stephens with a wayward pass which goes straight out for a throw-in. Storm Dennis has arrived.

Ashley Westwood floats a deep free-kick in, which is perfectly controlled by James Tarkowski. He delays the cross and Southampton are able to clear.

Chris Wood's cross then flies out for a goal kick, before the wind helps Kyle Walker-Peters' delivery do the same at the other end.

The wind is definitely having an impact. Southampton have reacted well to going a goal down as Phil Bardsley has to hoof another clearance out for a throw-in.

Jack Stephens manages to bundle his way through the centre, charging past two defenders before getting a lucky ricochet.

He's about to shoot from close range but Phil Bardsley slides in brilliantly to concede another corner.

James Tarkowski's clearance is properly cleared and Southampton keep coming back at Burnley in the box.

Danny Ings goes down in a tussle and there's faint appeals for a penalty, before James Ward-Prowse' shot is deflected out for a corner.

I do just think Danny Ings thinks it's just going to curl into the side netting. It's a poor decision.
