Ronaldo is on a one man mission. I've not seen him this motivated in a game for a long, long time. He skipped past Emre Can there and put a brilliant ball across the face of the goal.

Did we speak too soon? You cannot rule Portugal out of any game but that is poor from Germany. They let the ball go right across to the far post. Ronaldo does brilliantly to pull it back, it lobs over Neuer and Jota finishes it off.

It gives Portugal a lifeline back into the game!

    Diogo Jota

    HELLO!

    Portugal are back in it.

It's sloppy from Germany at the back, letting a free-kick sail all the way to the far post.

It looks like the ball is drifting out of play but Cristiano Ronaldo keeps it alive, hooking it back across for Diogo Jota to smash the ball into an open net.

A quick check for offside on Jota but the goal stands.

I have to admire their mentality off the back of losing to France and then going a goal down. They have stuck at it, played brilliant football and never dropped their head.

The energy and quality they have played with has restored my faith in the Germans because I did back them to win it.
