A couple of changes after that goal.

Magnificent build-up play from Germany, quick one touch football. Gundogan, Muller, Havertz, and what a cross from Kimmich and a great leap from Gosens. It is looking really ominous for Portugal now.

    Robin Gosens

    Portugal are falling apart!!

It is another delightfully worked move, Joshua Kimmich has so much time to pick out Robin Gosens at the back post for the Atalanta man to head in a deserved goal.

Germany are cock-a-hoop but Portugal are all over the place.

Only one man taking it and that's Cristiano Ronaldo but he laces a flat effort narrowly over.

That is fabulous footbal. But that is too easy, Kimmich is in that half position, plays a one-two with Muller and there's no tackle. Carvalho can't get close enough and Semedo is too narrow.

Beautiful ball in from Gosens who has been unbelievably good this evening for Germany and Havertz is there for a simple tap in.

    Kai Havertz

    Superb from Germany.

It's that man Robin Gosens causing all the issues again, staying onside and rolling a ball into the six yard box for Kai Havertz to side-foot an easy finish from close range.

Defending champions Portugal are being taken apart, they don't know what has hit them.

Cristiano Ronaldo coming out wide to collect the ball, right by the touchline.

He hasn't seen that part of the pitch since his Manchester United days.

Robin Johnson: Germany and Portugal playing at a whole different level than England & Scotland last night, in fact they’re playing a whole other sport

Edda: German machine at work.. No striker, no problem! Just get your opponents to score two own goals and it's all good...

Dodger: How have Portugal left Neves and Moutinho on the bench?! Their midfield is getting outplayed.
