England 0-0 Germany
There were doubters before the tournament, but Jordan Pickford has been excellent in Euro 2020 so far.
England 0-0 Germany
Mats Hummels was busy in defence for Germany in the first half - he made the most clearances with four, including that crucial one from Harry Kane just before half-time.
At the other end, Kyle Walker has made the most clearances for England with three.

Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
I don't think the wing-backs have enjoyed playing as wing backs, they are full-backs. For the front three again, Sterling has probably been the best of the three.
I would be thinking give it 20 minutes and be bringing on Grealish and Sancho, who of course plays in the Bundesliga.

Former England midfielder on BBC One
Kai Havertz has arguably been Germany's best player. The technique on that, he gets his knee over it and strikes it so pure. Jordan Pickford sees it late, but it's hit so well the England keeper does well to get a hand to it and get it clear.
England 0-0 Germany
The resulting corner is half-cleared, to the back of the England box, and then hammered away by Kieran Trippier.
What a big save that was from Pickford. His second of the game.

SAVE!
Jordan Pickford with a massive hand to tip over Kai Havertz's first-time shot from the edge of the box after a period of German pressure.

Here it is... should you be able to watch it... How did it not go in?

I’d give it 20 mins then bring Foden & Mount on for Sterling & Saka, you need players that are a bit cute on the ball

England have started how they left off. On the ball.

Micah Richards
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live
To be fair to Kalvin Phillips he's pushing on and trying to get involved but Declan Rice I don't know if it's because he's on a yellow card but he seems to be playing within himself. He's playing the simple ball - so many times where Luke Shaw and Kieran Trippier have been wide and they've just played the safe ball.
Rice can do it he is good enough to play that ball - I don't know if they're a bit worried about Germany but they need to get the ball forward quicker.

Here we go again. No changes.

Jurgen Klinsmann
Former Germany head coach on BBC One
Joachim Low is a calm individual. He gives them two, three bullet points, maybe each or one-on-one. The main thing for the manager is to make sure when they come out now, they are right there, that they are right into it and not half asleep.

Former England striker on BBC One
If I was Harry Kane I would be shouting in that dressing room when the ball did not come in.
I would not be saying it politely either.

This is going to be a long game. Feels like I'm back in 1990 and a penalty shootout awaits. 4-3 hopefully for England this time.
