Germany have been outstanding. I mentioned before the game win your first tackles and England have not done any of that and Germany have grown in stature.

England look nervous, they need settle down, relax and play what they know how to do.

Germany have had 63% possession in these early stages and have completed almost twice as many passes (71 to 41) than England.

They are pressing high and England are finding it difficult to get out.

Harry Maguire meets the free-kick delivery, but his header back into the mixer is headed away by a German defender.

Much more promising for England, though.

Bukayo Saka raises the volume, winning a free-kick deep in Germany territory by turning Antonio Rudiger and getting taken out.

Germany have started this game magnificently, they are so relaxed, they are all comfortable in possession. England cannot get near them.

We're just a little bit edgy at the minute. We just need to settle down a bit. Look at where their wing-backs are. They get into great positions. We're playing with a back five now essentially because of how high they play. That's exactly what we need to do when we get the ball. Be brave, and press their wing-backs back as much as possible.
