Rachel T: Proper old cup tie this!

Southampton's problem is they don't seem to want to see games out. They dominate, tear up defences and end up losing because of countless chances missed.

What a cup tie! This has been a wonderful game to watch. I cannot believe Tottenham are winning this game 3-2 but a fabulously, well taken penalty from Son but the move that resulted in the penalty deserves huge credit. Wonderful pass in by Dele Alli. Think the home crowd can't believe what they've seen today.

    Son Heung-min

Angus Gunn goes the right way but he still can't get his arm to Son Heung-min's penalty, which is right in the corner. And Spurs are close to the fifth round.

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

But how much of a touch did Angus Gunn get on the forward? It doesn't seem to matter though because Son Heung-min is ready to take this.

  14. PENALTY TO SPURSpublished at 86 mins

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

Spurs have a penalty. Dele Alli whips in a brilliant cross and Son Heung-min just dummies goalkeeper Angus Gunn, who brings him down. It's a penalty and Gunn is booked.

The game is tense but the crowd are playing a big part. The game has got easier for Tottenham since it's become more open. I think the more space that Winks in particular, has had inside of the pitch, has been better for Spurs because he can step in from midfield, spray the ball left and right. Moura dropping deeper instead of playing in the number nine has helped Spurs as well.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 86 mins

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

Southampton are really racking up the yellow cards here. Che Adams, only on the pitch a couple of minutes, barges down Serge Aurier.

  18. Postpublished at 85 mins

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

Son Heung-min's corner and Toby Alderweireld heads over. Right now a Spurs winner seems more likely than a Southampton one.

  19. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

Lucas Moura slides the ball through to Eric Dier, who lacks a striker's instinct and isn't ready for it. Wins a corner though.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 84 mins

    Spurs 2-2 Southampton

Southampton need to be careful now. Oriel Romeu is booked for fouling Lucas Moura - his second foul in quick succession.
