A great finish from Kabamba. Good play from Eamonn Brophy initially getting in behind the defence, he cuts it back, Power gets a decent enough strike on it but still work to do there although he did really well. Jullien was too slow to get out and plays him on-side. Kabamba produces a really good finish with the head and leaves Foster with no chance there. That puts the game right back into the balance.

Suddenly, Hearts have found their rhythm after making a double substitution. Euan Henderson and Uche Ikpeazxu replace Donis Avdijaj and Clevid Dikamona.

Instantly, the two subs combine down the right and the ball just evades Conor Washington in the box.

Aberdeen are pressing for a leveller, but have really toiled to carve out many clear-cut opportunities.

Lewis Ferguson shows a clean pair of heels to Declan Gallagher, but Mark Gillespie is out quickly to block his cross on the bye-line.

From the corner, Ash Taylor heads well over the crossbar. Not a lot for the home fans to cheer.

The Irishman immediately sprints down the left wing, swings a ball in with the outside of the boot, before Florian Kamberi latches on to a poor clearance. However, the Hibs forward blasts straight at the keeper and Christian Doidge does the same with a follow-up effort.

Not pretty this, not pretty at all, but Motherwell will not give a jot about that if it stays the way it is at the moment. Again Aberdeen with the bulk of the possession, but the visitors are organised, resolute and effective.

Hearts blow a massive chance to take the lead and it's new signing Donis Avdijaj who has a nightmare.

Steven Naismith burrows into the box, cuts back for Avdijaj who just needs to rattle in the finish and announce his arrival as Hearts new goalscoring hero.

Instead, the Kosovan slips at the crucial moment and misses the ball completely.

Superb saves from both sides - Saints keeper Zander Clark's outstretched save denies a long-range Scott Pittman effort that travells in the air,and St Johnstone break to challenge Robby McCrorie for the first time. Michael O'Halloran rises to meet a cross but the Rangers loanee makes himself big and takes a sore one in the process.

To be honest I thought it was offside, but it's Leigh Griffiths doing what Leigh Griffiths does. He gets the ball and he shifts it, I don't think there's a deflection but it hits off Koprevic's leg and goes in. That's going to do so much for Leigh Griffiths' confidence. Before it he tried a bit of link up play with Edouard and it was poor, he gave himself a wee shake and gets himself back in the area and has that strike on goal.

County's Josh Mullin is sent clear down the right hand side, but his cross is too easy for goalkeeper Joel Pereira to collect.

Sums up a frustrating night so far...

They are bit behind all the other games at Easter Road. Hibs re-emerge with two changes in midfield, with Joe Newell and Stephane Omeonga on in place of Slivka and Hallberg.

Nicke Kamamba's deflected effort whistles just wide for Kilmarnock, after good combination play between the striker and Chris Burke. It's been a bright start to the second half by the home side.

We're up and running again at most of the grounds.

Rangers lead thanks to that Jermain Defoe goal but had found the Buddies obdurate opponents.

Will the visitors open up a bit in the second half or simply sit tight again and hope to snatch something on the break or from a set-piece?

The visitors got that late strike but it's been a very even first half. It's been fast and furious, not been a lot of constructive play. There's no doubt who is going to be the happier manager at half time in a tight tussle here at Pittodrie.

They've got good form but have become habitual this year in terms of producing something and scoring goals. They've got to be doing better chipping in with goals. They soaked up loads of pressure under Steve Clarke, but because it's become a habit at Kilmarnock not supporting their front man they've struggled this season. Even in games where they've had the most possession.
