    It's been coming!

It's a lovely composed finish by Miguel Almiron who strokes it into the corner but all credit Allan Saint-Maximin for his part in the move.

Saint-Maximin is kicked in the ankle during a challenge but gets up and goes on a fine run before threading a glorious pass for Almiron to score.

    Decent game this.

Frank pinned his hopes on Tammy Abraham but since Abraham's injury he's had to pick either Giroud or Batshuayi and neither have lit the place up. But Chelsea can play off Giroud much more than Batshuayi.

That's going to end up in Wolverhampton!

  15. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool

Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah are both on the bench for Liverpool tonight and are having their names chanted from the away end.

A mate of mine has just said this is the most entertaining game he's seen in the FA Cup since Chesterfield v Boro in 97. That might be a bit of a stretch but this is a good one!

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2020

That's more like it from Joelinton!

The Brazilian cuts in from the left and goes past two West Brom players before forcing Jonathan Bond into a smart save.

Good again from Chelsea, Pedro crosses nicely from the left and Ross Barkley just missed the header. Cleared out, ricochets about and Mateo Kovacic puts it in the corner but play had long since stopped for offside.

What a player Mane is. He can create things out of nothing. He's so fast, so powerful, he just bullied Rudiger there and was quick to get his shot away.

Excellent from Willian again, shoddy from Fabinho again, he's on half speed tonight. Willian gets past his compatriot and flashes in a low cross which Neco Williams does well to clear at the back post.

It's a game of chess at the minute but no one wants to take the initiative. The team that calms it down and strings four or five passes together will take charge.
