Villa unfortunately just do not have the players or the team play. Midfield is ok and has players that could easily play in a top 10 team but defense and attack are hugely inefficient to say the least.

This has nothing to do with the Villa Park Faithful. It's the team on the pitch that is not good enough.

    Aston Villa 0-1 Wolves

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is difficult for Villa, especially playing against a very good side like Wolves. They've got no goals whatsoever and defensively they look all over the place. They've got some good individual players but as a team they just can't get it right. They are very frustrating to watch because you know they've got it in them. There's not enough players out there taking responsibility of their position and performance to collectively give you a strong performance. It's too easy to play Villa at the moment.
