Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish felt his side were unlucky not to beat Newcastle last-time out.

"I think the game in midweek we were probably unlucky to come away with just a draw," he said.

"Hopefully we can pick up from where we left off."

Aston Villa make three changes as they look to end a seven-game winless run in the league.

In come Marvelous Nakamba, Conor Hourihane and Keinan Davis. Out go John McGinn, Trezeguet and Anwar El Ghazi.

Ahmed Elmohamady has to settle for a place on the bench again despite his late equaliser against Newcastle last time out. He's joined among the substitutes by Danny Drinkwater, his first appearance in a squad since the Premier League's return.

Aston Villa: Nyland, Konsa, Hause, Mings, Targett, Nakamba,Douglas Luiz, Hourihane, Grealish, Davis, Samatta

Subs: Taylor, Drinkwater, McGinn, Trezeguet, El Ghazi, Jota, Elmohamady,Reina, Vassilev

The equation is much simpler for Wolves, who are unbeaten in seven league games.

Just the one change, with Adama Traore dropping to the bench against his former club, and replaced by Leander Dendoncker.

Wolves: Rui Patricio, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Doherty,Dendoncker, Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny, Jimenez, Jota

It is possible that Aston Villa will be buoyed by their late equaliser at Newcastle on Wednesday, but it is a tough ask for them to get anything against Wolves.

More and more people are realising what a good side Wolves are from front to back, and what a good manager they have got in Nuno Espirito Santo.

Wolves are pushing hard for a top-four finish, and I would be surprised if they don't pick up another three points here.

Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to BBC sports editor Dan Roan.

The German says "everything is possible" for his side if they stay "humble".

"When I came in, I had to tell the players not to compare themselves with anyone any more, some of the fantastic people who played for this club and won everything in the past," Klopp said.

"We needed to get the opportunity from our supporters to find our own way, and this is only possible because people never lost patience with us in any moment."

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson says he "cannot express" what Jurgen Klopp has done for the Premier League champions and hopes the manager will stay "for a long time yet".

Liverpool won their first league title for 30 years on Thursday after Chelsea beat closest rivals Manchester City.

The Reds are 23 points clear with seven games remaining.

"We want to perform for the manager, for the football club, for the city," midfielder Henderson said.

In contrast, the return to football could hardly have gone any better for Wolves.

They have won both their games without conceding a goal - beating West Ham 2-0 and then Bournemouth 1-0.

Wolves are sixth in the table, level on points with Manchester United and five behind fourth-placed Chelsea. Their eyes are very much on securing a place at European football's top table this season.

    Liverpool (A)

    Manchester United (H)

That's Aston Villa's next two fixtures after the visit of Wolves and it would take something special for them to pick up three points against either of those, especially considering they have yet to win against any of the top four so far this season.

    Massive game today.

It has been a tough return to football for Aston Villa.

A draw against Sheffield United was followed by defeat to Chelsea before a late Ahmed Elmohamady goal rescued a point against Newcastle.

Now they have a derby game against high-flying Wolves. Dean Smith's side really need a win, because it certainly doesn't get any easier after this...
