Good bit of pressure from Aston Villa ends with Jack Grealish hitting a dipping effort from outside the box straight at Rui Patrício.

Decent play from the hosts in this half, just need that goal.

DGB: Maybe it’s a lack of movement from Villa runners, but Grealish keeps taking one touch too many. Needs to play it first time a bit more when he’s dropping in to get the game moving. Seems a bit too keen to do it himself each time atm.

Marvelous Nakamba fluffs his tackle and Raul Jimenez is away down the right. He whips in a fierce ball but it is just out of Diogo Jota's reach.

During that first quarter Wolves really tried to attack Villa down the wings. They're barely trying to go through the centre at all.

The game is opening up a bit now as Matt Doherty bursts into the penalty area for Wolves but smashes a shot into the side netting.

That's the final action before the game's first drinks break.

Keinan Davis heads over as Aston Villa go on the attack once again. The two forwards are giving Wolves plenty to think about but Villa are yet to have a shot on target.

Good chance for Wolves now as Diogo Jota is fouled right on the edge of the area. Joao Moutinho whips the ball in and Raul Jimenez flicks a header towards the near post but Orjan Nyland is well placed to save.
