Good bit of pressure from Aston Villa ends with Jack Grealish hitting a dipping effort from outside the box straight at Rui Patrício.

Decent play from the hosts in this half, just need that goal.

DGB: Maybe it’s a lack of movement from Villa runners, but Grealish keeps taking one touch too many. Needs to play it first time a bit more when he’s dropping in to get the game moving. Seems a bit too keen to do it himself each time atm.

Traore on the bench must be a tactic to bring him on later against a tiring defence to set up Jimenez.

During that first quarter Wolves really tried to attack Villa down the wings. They're barely trying to go through the centre at all.

Dean Smith, look away now. There could be more injury trouble ahead as Keinan Davis is clutching his shoulder and looks in some discomfort. He's playing on, but one to keep an eye on.

A determined run by Jack Grealish on the left wins Aston Villa their first corner of the game. A floated delivery is headed harmlessly off target by Kortney Hause.

I think the fake crowd sound man hit the wrong button there as the "OOOOHs" were a bit much for a header that went well wide.

A stop-start start to the game with a few niggly fouls. Aston Villa have another free-kick midway inside the Wolves half but this time Jack Grealish's delivery goes over everyone and out of play.

Not much flow to the game yet.
